Hello everyone!  I happen to come across this website after my pain management doctor terminated me as a patient. He terminated me because my GP had given me a regular tramadol and he was giving me tramadol ER. I've been taking Tramadol for almost 7 years, back when it was the best thing out there because it was "non-addictive" and contained no Tylenol. I knew one was just extended relief but it still seems ridiculous to be terminated for Tramadol! I used to heavily use Vicodin for pain and went down to Tramadol because I was convinced by doctors it was SO much better for me. My PM doctor had been giving me shots, I had an MRI, told me I had arthritis in my neck and bulging discs.....and then dropped me.

Anyways, I've read A LOT on this website, along with lots of my own research, and it's nice to find a helpful group. Thank you!

Hi, I'm a pain patient also...bad back and I don't want to have to pea in a cup or be looked down on by the medical community.  I'm a 68 year old female resorting to buying stuff online.  I live in Baltimore where they give free needles away but I don't want to do her..ne. just pharmaceutical grade pain relief.  Tramadol works great for me until I over do it.  What a world we live in, huh?

  12. shoutback @ shoutback: I think when we have open discourse without preconceptions we all agree more than we disagree
  13. D @ drdrizzy13: Oh I totally agree and I agree the War on Drugs was and is a complete failure.
  14. shoutback @ shoutback: I'm not trying to say my point of view is better than others, just think we need to have more open and honest discussion about everything
  15. D @ drdrizzy13: You are right it probably doesn't. It has pretty much ruined my other first cousins live. He is so out there. It just sucks to see ya know. They take it to the extreme.
  16. shoutback @ shoutback: @drdrizzy13 your exoerience does not reflect the overall mainstream
  17. D @ drdrizzy13: yea for sure.
  18. shoutback @ shoutback: This is one of the few places in the internet where we can freely discuss this things and taking reactive stance like fentanyl and zenes are the devil do not promote a heathy discourse on the subject, though I understand admin also does not want to be under constant threat of people like the dea and fda
  19. D @ drdrizzy13: Honestly I can't think of any alcohoclis except for a friends Dad. I haven't drank in 10 years. I don't really hang around peole that drink or go to bars. I just hate being around drunks lol. And going to bars sucks if your not drinking too.
  20. shoutback @ shoutback: We don't work on something and do not continue developing with developing safeguards and appropriate treatment methods we adapt to what we learn. How many people do you know with alcohol addictions ? How many violent rapes and murders do we see happen under someone under the influence of alcohol yet alcohol is not demonized in the way fentanyl is and that affects much less people. Let's not be hypocritical. The prohibition model does not work and this is no place where we should be promoting it
