So, this may seem like done kind of pitch or me wanting you guys so i can get referral compensating or whatever, but it is not.

I don't have insurance as many of us do not. Getting your legit prescriptions filled isn't always cheap.. Even with generics.

So, over the past year or so I've been using this discount thingy and I've saved tonnnnnns on my medications. One particular medicine i get monthly is cash price $118. This brings the price down to $35. And that is just one example!

The thingy in question is goodrx. There are mobile apps and a website. The website location is http://www.goodrx.com

You don't even have to sign up. Just search for the prescription you need to buy, put in the dose, quantity, and your location. That's it! Your search will show you the prices you can get at all of your local pharmacies.

To use it is very easy, just print out the coupon or show them your phone when you drop off or pick up the prescription. It's easier on drop off so they don't have to reprint the label like they would if you do it on pickup.

They can mail you a card to use for all drugs if you request it but I've found you save a lot more if you use the individual drug coupons.

It's literally a life saver! I don't know how they do it. Maybe they have a hidden agenda and sell your information? I don't know. They claim they just have contracts with the drug makers. Not knowing how they do it may keep some of you from using it.. But i personally don't care!

So, there it is. /default_smile.png nothing in it for me, i just wanted to help and share some knowledge and contribute to this community.

Hope some of you can save tons of money!!

Search for your drug prices just for fun, you may be surprised!!

I haven't used this, but it's true that you can get huge discounts at the pharmacy. I just learned this in the last few months. I use Walmart pharmacy and ask if there are any coupons for whatever med I'm buying. Only once since then have I been waited on by a clerk that wouldn't take the time to find one for me. Once they find one for your med, they can link it to your account so you get that discount each time. I was paying $60+ for Hidrokodone and the coupon took it down to $14.95. I wish I had known about these things sooner!

I'll check this out too, always nice to save a buck.

Ah, glad you mentioned this... Walmart had been the only pharmacy not too take this goodrx coupon code. They said they have a preapproved list of accepted coupon companies or something to that affect.

From what i read though, they have to accept it. It drugs it right on the coupon. I just didn't want to press the issue. Perhaps it's just my local Wal-Mart without proper knowledged staff.

I've been to every other pharmacy around though and they all take it, even the mom and pops. It's always for the exact price goodrx says, too.

I get my v!kes from $118 to $35

Kl0nnies from $34 to $10

It saves me so much.

If it weren't for goodrx and Wal-Mart's 4 dollar program I wouldn't be able to take some of my medications.

I don't see an edit button on mobile. Sorry for typos and words that get autocorrected to different words. :)

It can depend on who waits on you and how busy they are. The only time they told me there was no coupon was at Christmas when they were swamped. If they don't take this, they should come up with something just as good. (If it's not Xmas)

I use this site all the time. It's amazing how much it drops the price. It sometimes means the difference between $250 and $20.

thanks Scottdot- this may come in handy sometime soon! Damn - looks like modafinil is STILL close to $9 pill in USA for the non insured script. This is why I love DBG - can you say "92% discount code"??? Lol.

I think it only discounts when you are buying brand meds.  I've never received discounts on generics with any discount card.

Usually generics don't offer coupons, it's similar to store brand groceries vs name brand. You're paying for a brand but the brand owner will cut people a deal for continued loyalty whilst those not in the know pay full price.

It's a little scary to me that are medications and health come with coupons now though, my life isn't the same as my deodorant in my mind.

  8. R @ Royboy99: Man I really love these misters I make , it takes my day that’s at a 2 and cranks it up to at least a 9… with sustained reups as needed … if only this was fda approved med lol, make my life so much easier
  9. C @ ClintEastwood: Well I got burned on my first buy. It stral sucks the guy has sole things in stock. But definitely what I ordered and I thought he was honest because I asked for something very close to it and i said what about that one. Yeah I got it. And the comms were wired and he was really wanting me to make his forum board look better. Now I know the first thing to look at even before the menu. But I have some business with usps tomorrow and will ask for everything mailed to me especially packages
  10. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: Policies have changed and i would behoove everyone to due their due diligence and go have a look. The guidelines from 5-10 years ago dont apply. And rules, regulations and laws may not either, i mean do you see anyone giving 2 sh1tz about the C0n$tituti@n recently?
  11. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @rasetreydir, yeah those are good af too
  12. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @Ross7223, they should boycott pre-paid p0stage
  13. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @Gulp2788, no they do not as of sept 25, u cant assume everything is the same, or anything for that matter. Its a brave new A-1 world folks.
  14. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: My milage has differed to yours though, I've found them incredibly reliable with their tracking and 3 day delivery is pretty accurate.
  15. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I agree but U5PS has to go through a legal process to search packages. Private companies can open your mail at their discretion.
  16. Ross7223 @ Ross7223: @Gulp2788 because they always lose pckgs, track1ng is never right, never is 3 day deliv3ry like they say
  17. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @Ross7223 From my understanding that's actually counter-productive, but maybe you know something I don't. Why do you say that?
  18. Ross7223 @ Ross7223: Vendor$ should boycott U5P5, they are terrible!
  19. Thoth @ Thoth: Happy Weekend! Let’s Get It!!!
