Glad I found this place! Hopefully it works out for me. I've been dealing with lower back pain and joint pain for 4 years now...which also means I've been dealing with a handful of clueless doctors for about as long. Nobody has an answer for me. Being in pain every day of my life is frustrating enough...seeing countless "specialists" without any kind of a solution is even worse. Anyway...my hookup has been cut off, which means I am too. So here I am.

Any advice for figuring out all the code words everyone is throwing around?

My advice would be to read and read and read some more. I also am in incredible pain and I found the most helpful reading guides were in the south of the border section. I hope this helps as I've been reading I've learned to not say too much or give too much information. So go south of the border and read until you can't read anymore! /default_smile.png

Welcome!

Where are you from, when I may ask? Doc's are different from country to country.

Welcome to the forum DL.  The coded words were the hardest for me to figure out but the more you read the easier it gets.  There are a few I still don't know but I'm guessing it's because they are about meds I don't use.

The code words are mainly used so if someone does a goggle search that won't end up here. And also not to make it too easy and obivious to outsiders what we are discussing since they would be able to piece together a  path of how things work.

A lot of the spelling in phonic or written like x_a_n_y_s. Get that DL?

I feel your pain. With all the pain I'm in I go from specialist to specialist doctors and none of them will help me also. I cant believe how horrible American dr's have become. They sure want your money but won't help you.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: yeah but isn't the password restricted to sponsors anyway? why not just make that section private like the other ones? or is "brand new members" inclusive of sponsored accounts that are newly registered?
  2. Gracie5 @ Gracie5: The password isn’t given automatically, at least by me. I don’t give it to brand new members.
  3. xenxra @ xenxra: dm admin for password. i still don't really understand the purpose of the password section if it's just given out freely to anyone who is a sponsor.
  4. N @ Nebulon Kitty: I've recently donated to become an opal member, and posted in the thread after the donation. How do I go about actually getting the password to the members area and my Opal status.
  5. CalFresh @ CalFresh: @Admin Thank you so much for your support. I am blown away by your generosity. Your contribution ensures I will be able to continue to serve this community with the same level of value and high-touch customer service they deserve. My most sincere and heartfelt thanks for all that you do! You've created an amazing place and I'm proud to be a member!

  12. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @otbotf I believe you need to get it from an admin
  13. O @ otbotf: how do i find the password to the locked pages?
  14. H @ hotdog45: @Mokachin0 thank you. Truly those words are not enough, but it's all I have at the moment. You are an amazing person.
  15. M @ Mokachin0: Search vet bills if your a member who needs help with vet care or basic staples for your pet, admins will verify I’m extending a real offer
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.
  17. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 absolutely my man, good question
  18. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh II just want everyone to stay safe
  19. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh yea I don’t want to start anything
  20. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 so as not to stir any pots, I'm not an expert on this particular forum software however I know natively it doesn't. that doesn't mean a plug-in wasn't used of some sort, if it's even possible. check out the dev console in your browser and poke around now you've got me curious
