If I came across a site internationally. Heard about it from a friend, where should I post it. I have one but I don't wanna put it in the wrong place!

You aren’t allowed to post sites not authorized by the forum. People have listed known scammers, so this is to protect members.

@Gracie5 please correct this if it’s not in line with my role or the rules please. I’d think the limited scenario would apply and is a decent time to remind vendors to stop beginning threads in random forum sections with links to Telegram or soliciting and advertising with absolutely no member-generated content/reviews, at that. I’ve seen this become more common lately.

You can post in any forum area that has a “suggest a vendor” thread, so “Suggest an RC Vendor” but there is no self promotion, so don’t suggest yourself unless you have a vendor account and someone has asked in the appropriate “who has it?” thread or a like-appropriate thread so long as it’s transparent and earnest, as well as only when directly solicited (but even then keep to a minimum and don’t “sell” yourself - keep it responsive, brief, and informational only).

If you don’t see a suggestion thread for your suggestion tell them to come start a vendor account or spend some time checking the place out.

The “Who Has It? How Much?” Is for members to list vendors they know have the item in question. It’s not for vendors to post in. If you see any, feel free to report them. The reason this is for members is so that the questioner gets an unbiased report. It also elicits more interaction amongst members. When 5 vendors post under one substance, it doesn’t help members know the item is quality.

I’m going to tag @Admin to chime in.
Thanks, @LatsDoodis

Thank you, belatedly, for your guidance. I've got a few hundred questions as I am a noob on DB 2.0 --many questions I am trying to condense so that you do not grow old or fall asleep as you read. I'll start small: I used to be part of the Pill Mill parade (we had several good ones in Florida but yes, they were discontinued). My main vent is that by limiting the ability of good citizens like to to obtain opiates, Benz, etc, they are forcing us to seek medication in every batcave across the globe. I am not a computer-saavy person, therefore, the dark net will require assistance from someone (no-I'm not asking for that).. Additionally, I am an AP which means crypto absolutely must not be known if I hold it. Nah, I'm a dummy on that too. I would love the access of your US List, but yes I understand, that requires a fee which I cannot pay, so we cannot get there unless I get a job as a pole dancer...that's it! A 60 year old in Houston, Texas dancing for dollars! Of course I will follow your rules and hopefully one day, I can be a sponsor and I too can navigate the murky caves of the dark net. Hey, seriously, I've searched high and low for Addy and 0xee, but guess what the two most counterfeited meds on the planet are? Anyway, thank you very much for listening to me and I promise to join you properly as soon as I am able. Gosh, we started overseaspharmacyconnection.com back in 1999 I think and it was a hit of mammoth proportion! Glad you're here! - I am Lisa Falcone, believer in Good vs Evil, Opiates vs NSAID's, you know the rest.........

I would be genuinely surprised to encounter a vendor offering alternative, non-crypto payment methods, especially one with a solid reputation for reliability and trustworthiness. That said, I want to emphasize that I am not an expert on this subject nor do I have significant experience with this platform. My insights are based solely on logical assumptions and the information I’ve come across while browsing vendor pages on the US list.

To start, we are clear net, not dark. You won’t be joining us on the dark web by donating.
In lieu of the pole, start by getting acquainted with how the forum works so that you can learn how to use cryptocurrency, find sections available, learn about not posting words bots search for, and how to help yourself find what you’re looking for.
We help people, but I don’t actually see any question here, big or small.

Ditto, @Jai239. There are good reasons for that.

I had so many ideas swirling around and I will keep posting but these are some big ones for now in relation to being safe, choosing good vends, and being a respectful member.

I hope I didn’t duplicate too often what’s already been said. But it doesn’t hurt to repeat a few of these things!

1. If it’s not an obviously solid reputable member, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. A few of our vends offer niche items. We know members who want these things. But if the vendor thread is a rollercoaster or it’s hard to find a string of positive reviews, you should know that going in if you READ. So why are you so mad and shocked if things didn’t work out? The writing was there on the wall. Penned by many authors. You gotta take some accountability. It’s like buying something with one star on @maz0n and being shocked the item sucked and u start raising hell. Take some responsibility.

Now, that is still not to excuse people from leading you astray or wronging you. That’s not to say u deserved it. Not at all. But we are also not in Bible study are we? Take into consideration the context. Be reasonable. The resources are here. If you want to ignore them, well, you’re still entitled to be upset and write a review that reflects that. But if you would have READ READ READ, maybe PM’d a couple people you could make informed decisions.

2. Review the reviewers. That’s part of informed decisions. All positive reviews are not created equally. Click on the member name, look for members over a year, and go to their posting activity to see how they behave on other threads. You basically want to vet members instead of looking at their positive review with no further skepticism. Unless that person is a mod, admin, etc. If you’re going to factor in member reviews into your decisions (as u should), make sure you know just a bit more about them. I’m not saying spy on them. Well yes, yes I am. But it’s “public” info on this board.

That’s not to say people who have been here under a year aren’t trustworthy. There are some great new members. But careful if a vend thread has just reviews from people who have been here 1-2 months. They are the easiest to manipulate into giving good reviews. Ideally u want to see maybe one or two long term members with active accounts (they contribute fairly often).

3. That said, a solid vendor thread doesn’t have to be perfect. If it’s wall to wall perfect, well, it’s possible, but sus. It should have mostly good things, an occasional snag (whether that be a rare instance he’s late by a few days or maybe the client sent after cutoff but failed to mention that. Or had trouble with Btc and failed to mention that). These details, if left out, make it look like vend lied about timeliness when it wasn’t the full picture. Basically if you’re gonna complain about timelines, make sure you mention those things. Essentially just be honest.

4. Be respectful. Spend time reading and maybe talking to some members and observing how things go. We’ve all had to pay our dues. It’s not cool to just ask people to tell you where to go. It’s more complicated. We don’t know what you are looking for, where you are, etc. and it’s not our burden to find out. The information is all here. If it’s not, then ask someone. Use the search bar. You will get the hang of it.

5. Don’t talk plainly, don’t talk about orders in real time, don’t use dates, carriers, etc. again, look at how other members who have been here a while talk, namely a mod.

6. Don’t contact a “door dasher” in charge of bringing the food. Ever. Distance yourself from carriers of your items.

7. Slow your roll a little bit. Don’t go messaging every vendor. Look to see if they’re active, like as in the last few weeks. Take your time. Start small. Do smaller order at first to try. If a vend won’t allow u to do that, move on.

I saw people in the last month or 2 messaging someone that literally died (RIP) to inquire about things. They died years ago. It wasn’t a vendor page. But the person’s account still has a member profile. This is what I mean when I say read read read.

If someone was last active 5-6 years ago (you can see this by clicking on their name usually), they probably won’t respond.

Ok, this is it for now but I will add more as it comes up!

BE SAFE. BE SMART.

agreed with @AnnaSofia . Cannot think of much to add. Vague but yet honest. Realize all vendors have an “oooops” moment but if it is an “ooops” pattern stay away. Regardless of the deals. Respect older members. They know. Trust me then know, they have seen things happen with storks that would be impossible to replicate. Always always call out fake publications. Safety first.

Excellent guide!
Yes, people posting on a moderator’s page who passed 8 years ago was incredulous. It says RIP in big letters at the top.
The community is here to help. The community would like to see effort, though.
Effort isn’t starting a new random thread, wherever the mind of the poster wandered, asking “How do I….”
We have a search function. There are hundreds of threads with questions and answers.
Before you give your hard earned dough to anyone, you should know what you’re doing. Read the rules before you post and know the vendor’s process. Ask private questions privately.
Threads are for reviews. To review, you need to have first purchased and received.
The Shoutbox is not for sales or complaints. It’s a Shoutbox, not a soapbox.

Here’s another little tip for making good decisions on vends and just making things smooth. This is just my take.

Most reputable vendors HERE who have stood the test of time, talk very little on their thread, or they talk but keep it pretty professional. Just a bit of gratitude toward consumers, settling of a random issue, updates to offerings, things that are useful etc. They rarely have issues with people but every once in a while, everyone hits a snag. But they won’t get nasty.

Frequent rants/insults/and worse, by anyone, is sloppy, bad for opsec, and it scares people off who are nervous (and that’s a lot of people when they are new). If we could reliably estimate lost potential sales that number would make a bookie ill.

Very rarely does this happen but I’ve seen some ugly shit the last few weeks. Fastest way to drop and flop is to even hint at a threat to use anyone’s information in a malicious way.

Don’t give ur info to people who are publicly fighting with members and customers in all caps (or lower case lol). I’ve seen 3-4 vendors in 8 years who had that problem. Fighting over everything. Taking nothing on the chin. Long paragraph rants. But not one of them is here anymore.

We have some vends here with great track records and class. If u don’t see what u want on their menu’s, ask them about it before moving on.

If someone shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM and keep it moving.

Be safe friends!

More excellent advice @AnnaSofia. These are so insightful. Thank you for taking the time to put all of these thoughts together.

Established vendor's that been in the game for years don't go spamming threads scattering their products all over. They have their own loyal client base already and don't go about posting their product everywhere.

Those vendor's that seem to carry everything are most likely drop shippers. Not necessarily a bad thing but can mean their prices are higher and they don't have any product on hand. They are middle men so things move along slower and when problems arise it takes longer to resolve.

There are other posts about this but a word on scammers.

Watch for scammers sending you emails. They are running rampant trying to replicate what appears to be the email addresses of existing vendors (e.g. using uppercase “i” to look like a lowercase L).

Also they send emails that look like they’re coming from DBG as though the vendor is contacting you through DBG. That would never happen in reality.

Don’t click on links in emails sent to you unless you initiated contact and they are replying to you. If you have a question about the validity of a message, ask the vendor themselves. That said….

To be extra vigilant, if you want to reach out to a vendor, even if you have them saved, copy and paste the email address from the top of their thread vendor’s page every time, as you may have a scammer’s address saved in your contacts without knowing it!

  1. Bizz @ Bizz: Believe your thoughts with gratitude consistently! Watch the positive results, have a great day all! Gloomy here....
  2. Bizz @ Bizz: We need someone with a chemistry degree!
  3. SeaDonkey @ SeaDonkey: Happy Saturday everyone, remember we are all humans just trying to exist in the same place, compassion always wins
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: apparently lizard labs is shutting down at the end of the year
  5. C @ Cheesus: Good morning! Ill be in touch, there's a few rather rare magazines I've been trying to find for a while, so hopefully I'll get lucky
  6. Professor_ @ Professor_: Hi Good Morning
  7. xenxra @ xenxra: I've opened a case with numerous exchanges at this point to monitor all the addresses I have on hand but after a lot of bakc and forth they all ultimately suggest I file a report with local PD but the people in my area are generally definitely not savvy enough to handle a case like this so I'd be left waiting around for them.to pass my case upto secret service or something
  8. xenxra @ xenxra: not a bad idea, I'm open to anything. problem is I don't really have a direct method of contact with the attacker. they used a VPN with a Google voice number to reach me.bc my number was leaked in a data breach (like 10 times at this point) and then the rest of the ordeal was carried out through a falsified coinbase front-end. atm I'm mostly just concerned with getting any phone numbers I have on hand suspended (done) and as many addresses as possible frozen (in progress)
  9. uncharted @ uncharted: @xenxra It's not the best advice but you could alway's bind a RAT to PDF file and send them an email from a differnt email posing as a lawyer/or some authority figure from a saying someting about sueing/fake affidavit or anything you can think that would make them scared/curious/greedy enough to open it and then drain their crypto or find out who it is and pinpoint their location and file charges. Just brainstorming.
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: appreciate the kind words everyone. I think I'll make it. if I can even just so much as manage to get one of these guys locked up with the trail.i have on them then I can sit well with that. based on a couple addresses I've come across they've taken at least $5mil total from other victims.
  11. T @ timyboy: BTC is soaring woohoo
  12. K @ knofflebon: @xenxra fuuuuuuuck I'm so sorry to hear that, goddamn. Crypto scammers are getting so sophisticated these days. Here's hoping this won't keep you down for too long, painful though it may be.
  13. PHXINC @ PHXINC: i dunno its not up my field. I understand you being over it. im sorry and people suck. shit i was pissed when the snow kids took 1200 from me. You have a good balance. kudos to you. There is another 100k out there.
  14. PHXINC @ PHXINC: i dunno its not up my field. I understand you being over it. im sorry and people suck. shit i was pissed when the snow kids took 1200 from me. Right before that i had a very large amount of things taken from me from a 'friend' through a combined deal to his drop of course. You have a good balance. kudos to you. There is another 100k out there.
  15. RiftChems @ RiftChems: My american heart shines bright tonight
  16. R @ rasetreydir: xenxra wow, 100k? So sorry to hear this but i I admire your patience, and optimism. I cant even pretend I would know what to do if i was in your shoes. Good luck
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: i mean i know how to do bc analytics and such so i figure the only thing a "hacker" on dread would be able to do is counter manipulate the dude but i have no method to contact him anyway besides maybe leaving a spooky note on chain with one of the eth addresses they funneled through
  18. xenxra @ xenxra: im honestly over it already, you live and learn.
  19. xenxra @ xenxra: meh not worth it. i know how to trade so i can bounce back in the end if im not able to recover it. i already spoke to binance and had three accounts frozen and im filing a police report tomorrow.
  20. PHXINC @ PHXINC: Go to the hacker forum on dread, i will say no more. People salivate for jobs like this. they gonna want 25-50% of your coin though if they get it.
