First of all I'd like to say what a brilliant site this is, best I've found so far!  I have been reading and reading but I am stuck on probably the most pathetic thing you could be stuck on!!!

firstly I'm struggling with the acronyms for the iops, email vendors etc

(I'm cringing as I'm typing it, it's such a daft question!!!). How do I highlight the name of a member if I want to include their name in my post?

i apologise again for such a dumb post! Any help would be really appreciated.

thanks in advice

Marinefish Dory may have been more apt ?

Sorry I can't help you as I am new here and trying to find my way too. But I do want to be the first to say welcome to dbg and I hope you find a lllllllll you need.

Don't feel stupid, everyone was new once. To notify another member just put @ in front of their name like @Marinefish .

The acronyms are tough. The ones used instead of the med names are made up by the posters so it can be a real riddle. Some of the others like IOP, SY, etc. will become obvious after reading along for a bit. But you can always ask!

And you can also notify me or PTFC for assistance like I showed you above. We are willing to help but need a clue as to what exactly you need help with.

If you think it's something better not discussed in the open, say @2earls please pm me.

Welcome to the breakfast club :D . Were all here to help. Some of the terms are silly but they also protect the integrity of the board. Keeps unwanted people from understanding what were talking about. Kinda... Glad you started out with reading. Number one tool you can do on here is read. Look forward to seeing you on the board.

Much love

Humboldtguy,

  2. L @ Layne_Cobain: Big league chew was fire and crazy addictive I remember cause like you said it was so soft so always felt like you weren’t chewing on enough until you had the whole pack in your mouth looking like an ole baseball pitcher with a cheek full of chaw
  3. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  4. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???
  5. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That big league chew was fire tho fr!!

  8. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Whatever happened to great American boobs. I miss those, too. I wasn’t allowed to fondle them as a kid, my parents were health conscious.
  9. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Bubblegum rack? Like, boobies?
  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  12. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.

  17. DougBreyers @ DougBreyers: @xenxra Yeah, and then you went right up to the conductor's quarter and stuck your stinky feet in his face. Could have waited until the train made a complete stop, BUT NOOOOOO
