Hello everyone!

I'm new and very enthused to be here! I've always known that...vendors... were risky in terms of getting scammed and getting busted if you try to get the wrong product.

I'm very excited about the news this site will offer and help me make informed decisions about whether i would ever make a purchase online and how or where to go about it, from a trustworthy vendor to as secure and anonymous an order as possible.

Anyways, I'm not doing anything yet. Just reading and gathering information. I'm about to hit up the questions thread... So I'm sure my main concern of having a delivery.. will be addressed somewhere.. Perhaps in there.

Also, is it possible to change my username?

I'm very excited about being a part of this community, getting knowledgeable about things, and taking as little risk as possible in such a risky field as online shopping!

Very glad such a risk reduction and knowledge service exists!

Warm regards,

*insert yet to be thought of mononym here*

I've also just read a bunch of stories of members who found this place after dealing with bad vendors and got their ship righted. For that, i think i will handle myself as VigilanteJustice.

Pretty clever, huh?

Indeed. Very cute introduction. Is cute a bad thing to say to a guy? Assuming you are a male by the name, but that could be a mistake. After all, I'm not a guy.

Welcome aboard. You are taking the right approach and that will lead you to success when you decide to take the plunge.

2E you're not a guy? Damn I had that one pegged. But then again, I thought your name was Grand Poobah the first week I was here /default_smile.png Welcome Newbie! Enjoy the site, lots of information and lots of opportunity to explore.

The skull threw me off at first too.

But she's a lady =)

Welcome VigilantJustice! You certainly seem to have the attitude and enthusiasm to take advantage of all this forum has to offer so just read, read, and have some fun.

Yes, you can change your nick, but I forget the circumstances... Maybe like every 21 days or something like that. People keep throwing me off cause they have new names all the time!

Enjoy! There is a whole crew of helpful and friendly people willing to help you once you've demonstrated that you've tried to find out for yourself.

  18. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  19. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  20. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.
