Hello DBG members. I'm glad I found this site but can't believe it took me this long (probably because I've never bought meds online before, however I still search this 'dirty' area of the Internet). I've been successfully taking Suboxone (I see a doctor for them and get a legitimate script) for about 2-yrs after battling an opiate addiction to prescription pain pills (OC's first and then Perk 30's when OC's became OP's) and then heroin for approximately 12-yrs. Now I just take my Suboxone - and only my Suboxone as far as opiates are concerned - and benzos in moderation for my anxiety which started when I stopped using/abusing opiates. The problem is I have to buy my anxiety meds on the street which means high prices and inconsistent availability and product.

That is why I joined this site. When I told a friend my PCP is very conservative and won't prescribe what I want/need for my anxiety he suggested I turn to the Internet. I was a bit apprehensive at first but when a referral from my PCP to a psych doc didn't go too well either I made the decision to search the Internet for what I needed. I asked my friend where to start and he said 'Well, first things first, what meds are you looking for because contrary to what the mainstream media might want people to believe, you can't just get anything you want on the Internet or at least it's not that easy' so I told him I was looking for benzos. He turned around and said 'Well, you're lucky then because those are actually very easy to obtain online. First, you wanna join as many sites like this as you can (he highly recommended DBG), then read, read and read some more and after you're done reading read a little more. He said if you still have a question or two - which you shouldn't if you've read everything and payed attention - then start a thread and politely ask your question(s).'

OK, I'm off to do some reading - check that - do a lot of reading. I just wanted to say I am happy to be part of the DBG community and look forward to some good discussion and feedback. Again, I'm glad I found you guys :-)

Welcome and congrats on kicking your habit. Those 'blues' suck you right in :/

@ean thanks for the welcome and congrats on my habit, however I am not one of these people in recovery who thinks that being on Suboxone or Methadone is really being 'clean' as long as that's all they take and they take it the way it's prescribed. Don't get me wrong it's a lot better than being addicted to something you have to buy on the street several times a day that could potentially get you jammed up in the legal system, in jail or dead, however just cuz it's legal doesn't mean you're clean.

Whether it's Suboxone or Methadone, unless you plan on taking either one for the rest of your life, one day you're still gonna have to kick and IMHO that's not being clean. Some people do and if they want to believe that who am I to say they are wrong. For me Suboxone turned my life around and I'm grateful for that, however until the day comes when I can wake up and take absolutely nothing and live a normal life I don't consider myself to be 100% clean. That's just my opinion and why at the beginning of my post I said 'congrats on my habit' and not 'congrats on KICKING my habit' but either way I appreciate the positive comments and thank you for making them :-)

im a sub user also...and I agree...sub is def not clean but its as close as ill ever be

  11. xenxra @ xenxra: @Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.
  12. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 absolutely my man, good question
  13. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh II just want everyone to stay safe

  15. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 so as not to stir any pots, I'm not an expert on this particular forum software however I know natively it doesn't. that doesn't mean a plug-in wasn't used of some sort, if it's even possible. check out the dev console in your browser and poke around now you've got me curious
  16. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh i didn’t think so. Thanks! There maybe should be a warning or something tho because the way it says protected DMs is kind of misleading
  17. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 Xenforo does not natively support encrypted DMs.
  18. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: Are the DMs here encrypted anyone know?
  19. xenxra @ xenxra: it's not so much about the merit it went up or down x percent in y time moreso just where it's at in relation to broader market structure
  20. Telp @ Telp: Cool off. Sorry for the messages, keep hitting the fucking go button
