Husband Burned My Home

After being on adderall for about a year I filed for divorce. He had 3 days to get out, but instead, he took gas and poured it all over my home and destroyed all our things. But, he also destroyed all our son's things. We have a 5 year old autistic son. It about killed our son. I didn't have the heart to show him the home because he screamed home "constantly" after the fire. When he saw the house, he cried and screamed bad, bad,bad over and over again. This is just a warning that adderall can drive you crazy without proper supervision.

Edit...I guess I read what happened wrong...

I'm sorry as well, to hear about this unfortunate tragedy...I wish you and your son the best, and justice to be done to this insane person you married.

I've known several people who have been on Adderall, and none of them have came even close to lighting a house on fire...Sounds like he needs some jail time and some serious help..

Didn't have the heart to show her kid the home, right?

That's a terrible, frightening story. I hope you and your son are safe, and have recovered from this ordeal.

Best wishes

Yes, that's what it sounds like....I read it wrong..oops!

Aw sweetie, just keep loving your son. Love can heal this. He may never forget but he will always remember and feel your love. Good luck in the future. I will keep you both in my prayers.

that is just beyond awful, for you and your son.  i'm so sorry you've had to endure that level of loss and terror.  mybest to you and your son during this incredibly trying time.  love and light to you.

I too wish you healing recovery and love.  I hope you come back from this very sad upsetting time in yours and your sons life stronger than ever.  Peace and love to you AngelC.

I think that this may have been in your husband before the @dderall use. Its just like all the talk that you hear about people becoming schizophrenic from using hallucinogens. They have found, that using hallucinogens will speed up the onset of schizophrenia if the gene is already present, but I tend to think your husband may have already had these tendencies, in which case it's good that you're away from him.

I'll agree, bombshell. A person usually has to have certain tendencies for a chemical to trigger them. I spent some time during my high school years experimenting with hallucinogens and most of the time things went well. One of my friends however had a 'bad trip' one night and got it in his head thatI wanted to kill him. I assured him over and over that it was just in his head but he insisted on leaving the party and going home. He wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the school year.

That is horrible. I don't doubt for a second that he had some kind of underlying chemical imbalance or family history of... something. I hope you are doing better now and that you and your son are in a safe place.

I know this was a few months ago but what a horrible thing to have happened.  I hope everything is better now, I hope this man is getting the help he needs.  I hope your son is better.  a heart filled hug for you.

  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
