I asked @2earls where best to post this, and she replied this was probably the best place.  So, I created a new email account specifically for DBG - It had nothing in it but my activation email, a few notifications that I had new PMs, and order details for, well, nothing recreational, but a med that helps with staying dry on cycle, and the vendor's not a fly-by-night, he's been one of my go-to's.  But he's always refused to get the hell off gmail and start using PGP.   That account lived a short life, on Friday it told me when I logged in that due to "inappropriate use or being reported", the account was closed.

Clearly some concern for me, but I wanted to get this out there for everyone to see, it can happen that quick.

Mods, I'll PM you my new email, my profile won't let me update it there.

@Zottman Was the Hushmail account a paid or free account?
@DippityDoo - It was a free account, only meant to be used to request access to the forum, then deleted for a better account once approved, so as not to leave that particular trail (it may be an archaic practice, but it has become routine).  What disturbs me isn't so much the "inappropriate use" part, as their content searches wouldn't have found a DBG registration that quickly (or have cared - I'm sure there are members here who use hush right now), but the "was reported" part.  Only person who could have reported it is likely to be someone here - No one else had it.

In our experience these 'secure' mail clients are amongst the worst to use. Safemail, hush etc all monitored more so than anything else
Agree for US-based email, but free or paid secure accounts with servers in Switzerland or Iceland are about the best you can do right now...After Eddie S., everything is monitored - But unless it has to do with govt shit, the Swiss in particular will make you wait years to get access to it, if they give you access at all.  Steroids?  They'd tell even the Germans to go piss up a rope with one hand while reading the Swiss privacy laws with the other.   It isn't small-fry like me they are after unless they know the small-fry has more than an email address for the big fish.

@Zottman  Wow.  Very concerning indeed.

Hey all - I'm going to give the mods and Admin what I've found so far, but everything indicates this is a private beef someone has with me, nothing to affect any other members.

Well that's a sham. Why can't people mind their own business and find something more constructive to do with third time ?

Once they became popular, if anyone remembers - they "shut down" for a short time, then returned.  Well they returned under new management if you will.  One of the agencies under the massive umbrella of the NSA has taken these "safe-hush" servers over. They are fully equipped to bounce mails through their global servers, including swiss, etc.  They are dangerous, I assure you. BO

  16. D @ drdso: It's scary now fr. I'm guessing we're gonna see a lot of exit scammers for former "reputable" veteran vendors. These tariffs/supply chain issues are causing them not to receive product due to seizure/denial. At a certain point they gotta get there money somewhere. Just be careful who you buy from y'all
