If you get an LL does it go on record anywhere?

Question: If you get an LL does it get recorded and show up in background checks for you and such? Or do they just confiscate it and mail out a letter and that's the end of it?

 
@jo556, over the past 15 years or so, I've received 5 or 6 LLs. During that same time period, I've flown internationally and have purchased firearms. So I'd say "No record". Also, keep in mind, it's not just meds that get grabbed -- Customs snatches up stuff like fake RayBans and counterfeit toys and lots & lots of money, cash & cashier's checks, just tons of stuff; the database would be gargantuan!
