Hello

This is my first post so here goes....

I would like to say that after joining last week and reading lots of threads and forums I think this place is great! My biggest  rant is about the new generation of  physicians who are younger than my husband and myself. I think when they took the hyppocratic oath they forgot about chronic pain  suffering  patients  like my husband. I hope when they're in their 60s and older they don't  have a Dr who tells them to sit and deal with it and we won't continue to prescribe pain meds because they aren't helping you. ( who cares if you have a growing cyst in your knee and can barely walk now ) we are cutting you off pain meds and no surgery either because it won't help after three years. Seriously? Talk about doing no harm. Just take two aspirin and don't call us in the morning. If I added an icon for this forum and group it would be hopeful as I'm sure other people are going through the same thing.

Best

Hello KB64

I have thought the same thing as in wishing my supposed pain doctor could walk a mile in my shoes. Well, I couldn't actually walk at the time, but was so desperate for relief that I ended up here; just like you.

I hope that the information will help you as much as it did for me. If you need a hand, just give me a shout out by posting @2earls.

Hi Folks,

I've found this site really useful and hope to begin contribute to discussions and topics. My angle on why I'm here is that I like to keep my own stock of differing types of meds. I don't like parental medical practices in the UK - if I think I may need something or other to help with a physical ailment or anxiety I may have, I research and self prescribe. Im fairly sensible with it apart from an occasional blow out for recreational purposes.

Best Wishes to One and All

Hello @KB64 and welcome. I'm new here too, or at least new as a participant instead of observer. Thanks for your comment on my blog topic.

I don't know all, but I know who to ask, if I can help you, or just lend my ear (or eyes, since I'm reading not listening).

I'm looking forward to seeing more of you around here. Good place and good folks.

  1. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That's what I thought. I haven't seen it around in a minute.
  2. L @ Layne_Cobain: Big league chew was fire and crazy addictive I remember cause like you said it was so soft so always felt like you weren’t chewing on enough until you had the whole pack in your mouth looking like an ole baseball pitcher with a cheek full of chaw
  3. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  4. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???
  5. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That big league chew was fire tho fr!!
  6. shoutback @ shoutback: Great American boobs were actually great British boobs. Facts
  7. M @ meepmoopmeep: bro what is this shoutbox today 😭😭
  8. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Whatever happened to great American boobs. I miss those, too. I wasn’t allowed to fondle them as a kid, my parents were health conscious.
  9. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Bubblegum rack? Like, boobies?
  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  12. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.
  13. O @ oh be g: Pumpkin, any luck?
  14. Pumpkin @ Pumpkin: Looking for seasoned DBG sponsors with experience sedating horses to message me about the substance that you use and its sourcing on the CNM 🤩

  17. DougBreyers @ DougBreyers: @xenxra Yeah, and then you went right up to the conductor's quarter and stuck your stinky feet in his face. Could have waited until the train made a complete stop, BUT NOOOOOO
  18. Hankhill @ Hankhill: Happy veterans day to all the vets. I have much respect for those who served, thank you for your service.
  19. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: happy veterans day!
