Just diagnosed with ADHD

I was just diagnosed with ADHD on Monday and prescribed 10mg Adderall to start.  I was expecting to feel something but after taking my first 10mg I felt no different.  Does it take a while to experience results? 

 
 @The1978 Unless you have some moderately robust stim tolerance, you should feel 10mg of Adderall within 10-20 minutes.  If you take 20mg and still don't feel anything, you should go talk to your doctor because something is wrong.  (Be careful about taking 20mg—I'm not necessarily suggesting that you should, just stating a conditional...)

I’m by no means an export and have never taken Adderall but maybe you have a naturally high tolerance?

People react differently to medications.
