Hello all, I'm a semi-old head.. love to quote some of my "friends" lyrics, I've been lucky enough to get to kinda know several over the past 5 yrs.. this was me at 22- "livin too fast, to live too long.. I don't wanna die but I don't know yet where I belong" I actually thought I knew it all till I pulled an "In the curve" and T-boned a truck in a mint, all original '72 Maverick(car saved my life, I killed the car tho smh) going from 60mph-0 in .0001 second... worst feeling ever.. head went 1/2 way thro the windshield, and my chin bent the steering wheel, had 22 stitches where my teeth went through below my lip.. 1 yr later couldn't move my right side.. long story short.. I got talked into a fusion, c3-5 I believe, and they put pins and rods in there.. but found severe stenosis on other nerve roots and spondyltesis.. my spines trash but, I still LOVE TO DANCE! It takes what most go though in a week to get me to a concert and able to dance.. but I do it, even hit 3- 3 night runs in 3 diff cities the past yr..
Then I decided it was time to get as low on the pain meds as I could.. and I'm almost to my goal, I had set for 2016, and things are getting TOUGH.. Insurance cut one of my scripts, cuz.. well I'm not 100% sure so I'm blaming the gov't's new rules.. cuz someone in my condition doesn't need more than one Dr and a few specialists.. Oh and while that was MY first real bad accident but I'd been in 11 bad ones where the cars/trackers/trucks, were totaled before I was 20.. Needless to say, IDK if I'll ever be off my meds totally and am ok w/ that.. but they've had me "stuck" for lack of a better word, in an area I just don't wanna be.. just visited L.Ville and wanna live there but.. again the cold.. so I'll hit it on my way down further south.. as well as Nashville to see my "buddy" Langhorne Slim.. Music is my best friend, next to my dog, and a female friend whose not been afraid to stick by me through the darkest and most F'd up times these past 3-4 yrs.. she's a lil pushy tho hahaha(I hope she reads this) I'm not shy and am always here, and willing to help anyway I can, whether it be just listening or.. advice, ect.. Glad to have "found" all of yinz.. If ya can't tell, I'm a freak.. Learned to embrace that from this generations combo of Dylan's writing and Joe Cocker's moves as a front man.. never met a more real musician whose played to Bonarroo.
"In the belly of the Whale, and in my bedroom I can't sleep... All my friends have crooked tails, and that's the way I like it, that's the Company I keep- Here we are, extending into shooting stars! You didn't do it, now you DO... This just happens to be, the way, we move!" My brother froma notha motha Sean "Langhorne Slim" Scolnick and the Law 1 of the 10 times I've seen him perform past 18months enjoy!-
