The DEA is banning the 2 alkaloids of kratom that deaden pain, but I'm wondering if any is out there extracting the other alkaloids, for instance the one that acts as a bit of an upper, since that presumably is still legal. I use kratom for its analagesic effects but also to help perk me up in the morning--it's really good for that since it doesn't increase anxiety or make me jittery. I guess it would have to be done overseas or Canada or Mexico where kratom is still legal.
