Hi. I've been lurking for about a year and now am finally getting back into the swing of things, needing the information on this board. Years ago, I posted at DB and bugdryers. Since then I've tried to make do with what my docs will prescribe. I've had fibro for about 8 years and I was diagnosed with bipolar 6 years ago. I take Seroquel and Cymbalta to manage moods and help (some) with pain. Plus I'm taking tramadol xr to help with pain, too. Unfortunately my doc quit prescribing xanax 6 years ago and instead want me to take more Seroquel during the day to manage anxiety, but that stuff makes me feel like a zombie. It's hard enough to wake up after taking my regular dose at night. Plus, I'm not a fan of the tramadol either. I've tried to wean myself down off it, but wind up feeling horrible wd. And I can't get my doc to switch to a different pk... I had to go through the third degree just to keep the tramadol I've been getting after the recent schedule change. So, hopefully I can use the info here and interact w/many of you. Thanks for listening. Take care!!

 
Hello there!

So glad you decided to stop lurking and start posting. If you've been reading, I'm sure you have seen there is a lot of info about tramps. Thank you for the nice introduction.
