Hey all. I've been going through many of the threads in this section and reading about the ongoing issues with paying via MG online. Has anyone tried using the MG mobile app?
I've been using the WU app and have had about 5 transactions within a months time with very little issue. Transactions have ranged from 300 - 600. I've never used MG and was thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to start alternating between MG / WU and was going to try the MG app. The only issue I sometimes find is the app randomly assigns a specific town for pick up that is not accessible by the receiver and I would have to call and have it released to all locations within the city.
I realize making payments in person is the most consistent but the WU locations near me force you to call them from a special phone within the store. Then you provide all the info verbally to a WU rep before being provided a transaction number which you take to the register for final payment and tracking #. Sounds painless but 3 out of 4 times upon confirming all the info at the register I find spelling mistakes input by WU phone rep. When that happens you have to cancel the transaction, go back to the special phone and start a completely new transaction. They have no way to fix typo's. I'd much rather fill out an old school form and hand to cashier
Sorry for the long post but was mostly curious about everyone's experience using the MG app?
