MM edibles will they lose potency?

I ordered butterscotch in Dec 2017 and still have most of it in a glass dish with a lid in a dark drawer. It is somewhat sticky now and most of powder sugar has dissolved. Is it still good? Would it be less potent?

 
Pretty sure it has lost potency. I took same size piece as when I first got it and barely felt anything so 2 hours later I took a little bigger piece and felt energized and happy.

They were actually very potent when I first got them. Too much for me then and now seem better.

The big near-half-pound slab of Hersheys Symphony bar with the BLUE label is hands down the best mainstream chocolate bar in America.
