Muscle Cell Saturation

Firstly I want to state that this is a FACT of human physiology. Not what may or may not happen because a piece of literature or two say so.

Now bear with me, because I want to make sure everyone understands this.

I'm sure you're familiar with how people say that fat cells never "disappear", only shrink? Well this is obviously true. The fat cells you gain will only shrink in size but will always be present in your body - Along with all the necessary cellular components of the cell to function (nucleus where the genetic information is held, ect).

Fat cells are obviously specialised cells geared towards storing adipose tissue. And since the genetic information "hardwired" to storing fat will always be retained (as the cell does not disappear, only shrinks), gaining fat will always be EASIER for those who were previously obese, and have a greater number of fat cells still present in their body.

This is a legitimate reason why people are encouraged to lean bulk and not dirty bulk.

Anyway, its almost the SAME thing with a muscle cell (specialised cell). I'd like to make it clear that this is also THE MUSCLE MEMORY PEOPLE KEEP TALKING ABOUT. Muscle memory is a FACT and all you need to do is understand this little mechanism of human physiology to understand that it is.

Above I also said "Almost" the same thing, as we know that you don't "gain" muscle cells under normal conditions (what HGH may or may not do aside) - You're stuck with the amount you were born with.

But the muscle cell, like the fat cell, can shrink in size, but it will never "disappear" and will retain all its cellular components necessary to its function.

Now when you use steroids, there are only a certain amount of AR in the body. Once your body uses up all the AR, it will do something very intelligent - CREATE MORE androgen receptors within the muscle cell.

Therefore, whenever a satellite cell fuses with a muscle cell, it donates an androgen receptor. Steroids increase the rate at which these satellite cells fuse.

Now, because of this, if you ever stop training and lose the size of your muscle cells, you will always retain the cellular components of the muscle cell. That includes the AR and any extra ones that the body has produced along the way. This is muscle memory in the flesh.

And obviously, the bigger the person, the more AR they have.

Now I know what you're thinking and yes, from this theory, we can confidently deduce that the body becomes UPREGULATED from many years of training and steroid use (Isolated or together). Meaning, there is NO SUCH THING AS YOUR FIRST CYCLE IS YOUR BEST - THIS IS A PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUE. Your body will only become BETTER are processing steroids, whether they be your natural production or exogenous.

However, even though the bodies growth is not regulated through the androgen receptor, it IS THROUGH OTHER MECHANISMS (Myostatin for one, being a huge one that everyone should know about). This is why we can't keep growing to 500lbs, 5% or 300lbs, 10% from using everything under the sun for a year. I'm just saying that the AR does upregulate, not downregulate, and is not the source of growth prevention but promotion instead.

This is why Bodybuilding will always, no matter what, take dedication, patience and time.

So that's why a pro, or someone who is OR WAS in the past bigger than another person, will always have more AR. Effectively, they have the ability to utilise more steroids and benefit more off smaller dosages VS someone smaller.

cheers!

Someones ability to assimilate the drugs is a key factor including genetics for muscle shape and density.

I do believe that there is a point of diminishing returns and total saturation where the exact happens. They begin to look like run over excrement.

Homeostasis essentially or negative feedback if you will. The point where you have to effectively take steps to clear your receptors or your pissing money away.

Yeah depending how far they have pushed the boat out. Look at Kamali. He looks deformed and will never return to looking like a normal human being. He has abused HGH that much his internal organs make the majority of his mass.

I know mate. Thank god they are making a conscious effort to move away from the distended stomach, not enough in my opinion there should be bigger punishments regarding the point system. But what he's done is not bodybuilding, it's not asthetics and symmetry when they have no taper, vacuum and their abdominal wall is just like you said their internal organs splitting the seems. Literally.

  1. D @ drdrizzy13: LSU is trash and has always been trash but a night game in death valley is unlike anything I've experienced. Except the first game back to the superdome reopened after Katrina destroyed it. Everybody was crying and drunk as shit lol. All time favorite in person sports moment ever.
  2. M @ meepmoopmeep: Kiffin is a traitor and he and LSU deserve each other since they’re both complete trash
  3. D @ drdrizzy13: yea he's a joke lol. Can't stand him.
  4. L @ Layne_Cobain: You know who rly sucks…lane kiffin 😂 dude is all that’s wrong with college sports or at least a big chunk of it…and he lied about being told he could still coach ole miss in the playoffs
  5. D @ drdrizzy13: Hey at least Ole Miss got in. I can't stand LSU. They really sucked this year.
  6. M @ meepmoopmeep: as an A&M fan I’m content with us missing the SECCG for that reason. Georgia about to fuck Alabama up
  7. D @ drdrizzy13: Yeah I agree if bama loses I think they are out. That would be 3 losses. I don't see a 3 loss team getting in this year.
  8. L @ Layne_Cobain: Yeah that’s why sark was pleading his case about that Texas shouldn’t be punished for scheduling a non conference game against the best team and losing if they hadn’t done that they’d probably be in but oh well way it goes there’s always gonna be a few teams who get robbed or feel they got robbed even with a 12 team playofff…if bama loses to Georgia I’d think they’d be out but who knows
  9. D @ drdrizzy13: Alabama also lost to Florida State pretty bad. Whom Florida beat. I just think if they didn't decide to play ohio state the first game. They would be in with 2 losses instead of Alabama.
  10. M @ meepmoopmeep: @drdrizzy13 Texas lost to Florida of all teams, they weren’t heading for the playoffs anyways imo. At least not this year
  11. D @ drdrizzy13: Texas is offically out of the playoffs they didn't make the top 12. I do wish they were in it. They showed up against Texas AM. But there fatal flaw was scheduling Ohio State for their opening. Which would have been great if they won but they are a 3 loss team now.
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: Yeah idk about arch I could see him staying with Sark for another year but if he plays rly well in the playoff who knows that is if they get in
  13. D @ drdrizzy13: Man a lot of Saints fan want Arch but I think he said he is playing another year. I would take him probably. But if Texas AM QB comes out or Ohio State's I think you gotta take one if your picking top 2.
  14. L @ Layne_Cobain: Is the qb class supposed to be stacked or thin for draft in April I follow college ball but I can’t think right now I think there’s def at least a few high potential qb declaring
  15. D @ drdrizzy13: Right now I believe we pick 2nd. ATM.
  16. D @ drdrizzy13: At first I figured he might be able to do something but our position players suck. We are playing a rookie QB. O-line sucks. It needs to be blown up. I hope we tank for the first pick
  17. L @ Layne_Cobain: Hopefully you guys maybe find a solid qb option in the draft you should end up with a very good pick
  18. L @ Layne_Cobain: Yeah dude Moore def does not seem like the guy for yall need to clean house
  19. D @ drdrizzy13: I should say our receivers suck
  20. D @ drdrizzy13: AK is hurt. Our receivers hurt and our starting QB went to college for fucking 6 years. If that tells you something. Also he never completed a complete season in college due to injury. We need a new GM and FAST. And surprisingly Kellen Moore's play calling has been TERRIBLE.
