I've heard arguments on both sides. I'm in the US some say our name brand pills are better than generic same say they are the same.

I love all my friends here opinions. Gonna tag a few I can think of off the top of my head.

I guess the bottom line is that if you think the name brand is better than the generic then it will work better for you, mainly because you think that it will. There are a very few drugs that have been proven to be more effective in the name brand, but for the stuff I get prescribed, the name brand is nowhere near worth the increased expense. Of course, I may be cheap. Now in many non-western countries, there are big discrepancies between name brands and generics, and between different makers of generics. Of course, anyone who uses IOP's probably knows this from experience.

I've never taken name brand shit except a V one time. But not sure if it was better. I personally think they are the same but some people are adamant and think name brand is better.

Watson 540. It was generic but people swore those were better than any other generic Lortabs.

Peepul can be reel illijiterit.

They swear they know something because they think they know something. Maybe they like the light blue color. If the Watson had a hole in the shape of a "W" in it, then it would be as strong as h3r0in. Idiots. Drug companies must really love preying on them.

I note no difference aside from full psychological impact. Ex: the k or v-hole thru a couple specific items.  Desirability to others potentially

I have heard people mention that Brand works better than generics.  I think with generics the consistency is the issue. For Indian manufacturers Cipla has the best consistency. Aurochem and Centurion are ok but overall Cipla products are better.

I see no real differences either. Much of it is psychological in my opinion. Though there can be different fillers and ingredients used, things like that can even differ from generic to generic, but the point is, there should be exactly or near as exactly the same amount of active ingredient as in the original brand. Having sampled various meds from around the world, I'm generally impressed with the quality.

The ONLY med that I've ever noticed a difference with, was the fent patch. There is a HUGE difference between brand and generic. I've gone through w/d's as proof. And when you look up the amount of fent in brand name vs generic, there is a huge difference between the two. As for everything else, and I've been prescribed quite a bit, it's all the same. Now, there are some generics that work better for me than other generics. But that is usually because of a persons 'make up'. What works great for one person may not work well for another. But as far as brand name being better, aside from the fent patch, I have never noticed a difference. I've only noticed differences between generics (generic vs generic).

I agree on the filler issue.   There is a generic of an antidepressant i take that i cannot tolerate, one of the fillers just wrecks my gi system, otherwise the main/active ingredient does what it is supposed to do.

  4. L @ Layne_Cobain: Big league chew was fire and crazy addictive I remember cause like you said it was so soft so always felt like you weren’t chewing on enough until you had the whole pack in your mouth looking like an ole baseball pitcher with a cheek full of chaw
  5. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  6. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???
  7. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That big league chew was fire tho fr!!

  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Whatever happened to great American boobs. I miss those, too. I wasn’t allowed to fondle them as a kid, my parents were health conscious.
  11. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Bubblegum rack? Like, boobies?
  12. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  13. xenxra xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  14. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.
