Nerve pain helped by Psych3s

Hey I don't know if this is the exact right area apologies! But when it comes to psychedelics medically, you never hear about them for nerve pain. For context most physical feelings(smell, taste, feel, etc) are about 10-25% of normal at max for me from a scenario I had when I was younger. But when I take a psychedelic I wont say I got all sensations back or any at all, but what is there gets enhanced back up to equaling 50% approximately of normal. As well as my nerve pain, mainly being due to my nerves not sensing anything and, making things up. This gives them something to focus on instead of creating random pains. Does anyone have any similar experiences, or read any papers about something similar? I always love to hear peoples stories n learn!
