Hi Everyone, thought I would introduce myself say hello.

Found this site while googling to see if site was legit or not so has already been helpful.

Still searching through it to find what I need, is very informative. Good work everyone.

Me I am a 38yo guy Living in Victoria Australia.  I am a retired MMA pro and bodybuilder whom has lived in Dallas,USA in the past as well.

I suffer from chronic pain from my career and on here to find solutions for it.'

As the Aussie doctors here will only prescribe tramadol or if lucky only 10mg OxyContin which for  a former fighter that weighs 115kg has  no effect at all.

So I basically sit in my chair all day watching tv shows and movies.  As chronic back , neck hip and hand pain keep me limited.'

Trying to find solutions ideas to improve my quality of life as I have depression and anxiety issues which are made a lot worse by the chronic pain.

Also if anyone has idead on adrenal glands.

My docs refuse to look at them but I feel something is wrong there.

Few years ago after stopping Zoloft my body stopped producing the hormone testosterone and my energy has never been the same, even with the replacement meds the docs have me on. Therefore I think maybe Zoloft damaged the adrenal gland.

I seem to find things that raise dopamine levels make me feel normal again,I appreciate a good chat so anyone is welcome to message and chat with me.

Sorry to hear about your pain situation and I can certainly relate to it. I hope you will find some help here in getting what you need to improve things for you and if I can help just give me a shout with a @2earls in your post.

Hi @2earls thanks for that I appreciate it. Actually I am having trouble still sourcing what will help.  Been given the run around by my pain specialist this past week they cancelled my appointment as he was sick and said would call with my scan results. Yet after a few days has not called or responded to the few messages I have left.  So am thinking of asking of a new referral to a different specialist.

 
I tried to send you a pm but I'm experiencing technical difficulties. Last time this happened, I had to wait a couple days before it worked so I will try again and in the meantime, I think Starlite ships to your location. 

And it sounds like you should do what you suggest and try a different doctor with better service. Even if the doc is sick, someone from the office should return your calls. Hopefully you can do better.

 
i can give you ;loads of advice on pain treatment  i used to be a chemist dispensory so i'd have to have all info but WELCOME to the site  pay ur duesand get on board

As far as I know different countries have in their pharmaceutical network different miligrams available.

Hi @Alfapharm  yeah the docs here are so annoying. They mostly just dish out Tramadol. I was in tears from the pain the other day and that's only way could even convince the doc to even give me 10 mg OxyContin. Which for me has no effect unless I take more than 4 at once.  Is very frustrating here.  I gotta wait 2 more months for next appointment and docs only read page one of report on last scan, apparently it shows on next page I have a labrum tear and a cyst I didn't know about.  The chemists do stock 80mg OxyContin here but is rare to get a script for it.

Hi @Misjah would love more info, is hard here in OZ the docs don't like to prescribe even after surgery was hard to get anything other than tramadol. I would welcome a pm from you.  Thank you.

Wow, such stringent, unrealistic rules there.  So sorry to hear about your health issues.  I hope things get better for you.  Keep pushing those docs!

 
Hello Fellow Aussie!!

Sorry for the late welcome. I'm in North Queensland, we've been distracted by cyclone Debbie for a while.

You have all my sympathy. I was married to an Aussie doc for ten years and I still work with them. They have an attitude of smothering paternalism which can only come from smug privileged people. By now you will have been labelled a 'druggie' by a doctor who probably pops pills whenever he wants. This isn't helped by a government which makes us describe our medical condition to some 12yo pharmacy assistant every time we buy paracetamol with a bit of codeine in it. Don't get me started...

My problem is insomnia. I found it hard to find a vendor willing to ship to Australia. Try Starlite as 2earls suggests but email them first. Some vendors didn't even bother responding to my emails.

Our other problem is customs - more government paternalism. I have been waiting for a shipment for 30+ days now and I'm fearing the worst. When you do find a vendor, let me know how long the goods took to arrive and whether you had any probs with customs.

Wow, living in Oz for 4 years, and finding it hard to get a doctor to prescribe even trams. :( Any tips?  (Admin, still learning posting rules - feel free to delete this if not allowed)

L @ Layne_Cobain: @maoi nah no fear of needles and if it made me feel a lot better no fear of being on it long term as who knows if my t will even rebound after 5 years on methadone not sure if that’s the norm I hope so…the more I research the more it seems like the best choice is to just go for it with TrT rather than trying to “middle” with Enclomiphene especially now that i know it probably won’t work being on methadone altho I am tapering off 5 mg biweekly so that’ll take a while I’m at 95 now from 120
  4. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain the longer you’re on it without using HCG sometimes, (meaning years) the harder it will be to rebound if you do come off. But I’m with you, at only 22, I’ve abused myself to the point I may NEED trt. Not to mention all of the benefits
  5. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain You don’t seem it, but if you are the type that’s afraid of needles for life, don’t sweat it. I’m natty atm, but from what I hear A) you won’t want to come off and B) if you implement HCG every once in a while to your protocol, you have a better chance of being able to come off T completely and restore all (or most) of your natty production. Of course, no guarantees and it is dependent on the individual, genetics, compounds and duration of exposure, etc.

Cause after further research I don’t think it’ll even work while still on methadone…I think trt with hcg to preserve fertility and ball size is the way to go for me. I just wanna feel better. Thanks for your input on the matter btw
