I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 55

When I grew up ADHD was unheard of. Man did I mess up my life. You wouldn't believe the number of failures and mistakes I've made. Now after years of medication I have attained national recognition for my chosen field of expertise. That's one success, the failures far more. Anyway I have always been interested in drugs. I hope to contribute something positive to RDG

Welcome @Rubensano, I hope we can be of assistance to you with regards to your illness. Have a look over the rules, this is quite important, there's also a quoted info for new members thread pinned in this section, worth a look for any site specific etiquette and the like. As @ElectroNymphsaid, please holler to myself or 2earls if you get stuck, there is plenty of reading material out there for you to get through.

After looking around and trying to find sources I have run into a wall. Seems near impossible to find ADHD meds or stimulants.Every link I have followed has been a dead end. Any advice?

Hi @Rubensano it depends on exactly what you are looking for. I have heard that Starlite has very good Add€rall and the Mexican vendors have it for a high price as well as Ritalynn. Yes, we misspell on purpose.

A good place to start is the ad banners scrolling across the home page. Click on them to either see their list as with Starlite or usamedsforyou.com is one of the few with a website. The rest you can email and request a menu.

If you still need assistance, just give me a @2earls and that will notify me. Oh, and mention you are a DBG member when you email them.

I think it's best I just send you a pm. I thought it was best to hide that last post and I explained why in the pm.

@Rubensano I think it's great that you finally got diagnosed and the  treatment that you needed . I wish they would have known about this when we were in school and college. It does cause major problems if left untreated and treatment just wasn't around. I'm 55 so I think I first heard about it when I had kids in primary school in the 90s.  it sounds like you did and are doing well.  Nice to meet you

  1. L @ Layne_Cobain: Big league chew was fire and crazy addictive I remember cause like you said it was so soft so always felt like you weren’t chewing on enough until you had the whole pack in your mouth looking like an ole baseball pitcher with a cheek full of chaw
  2. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  3. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???

  9. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
