New laws coming

Hello all I am new to forum but wanted to give an update.  Our new president is passing a law that will no longer allow Dr.s in the hospital to allow patients to have any narcotic pain medication past three days.

In his ultimate opinion as a "doctor" he has decided that there is no reason for post surgical patients to have  pain meds for more than three days.

Also for anyone on SSDI and on Medicare starting next month he is trying to and it looks like it will go through that Medicare will no longer pay for pain medications,  only injections...which won't work for someone like me who has hypercoaguable state and on a steady dose of injectable heparin.

Additionally the Veterans Affairs has decided to stop their pain management program and only do injections as well.  I am a disabled veteran and when I went to the VA....who incidentally years ago started me on oral pain management was going to give me Narcan, which would have put me in immediate withdrawal.

They have absolutely no sympathy and will not budge.  Sorry guys this is the foreshadowing of things to come.

Chime in please

Fyi. It's only going to get worse.  Personally for me I have a gene that makes me a poor metabolizer for almost every type of drug except basic morphine and synthetic morphine like dilaudid and since I've had gastric bypass many medications go through my system fast thus needing immediate release meds several times through out the day.

I feel for you lot across the pond. My country when we leave with a no deal will probably end up following you health care system. There is already mp's saying the nhs is unsustainable and we need to follow the US insurance based health care. Its fucking scandalous.

I am also a disabled vet and when I started going back to the “lovely” VA (when I had no more insurance...had a 5yr break from those morons), I was going to a civilian dr and my pcp at the VA told me they no longer pr€scribe m€ds for pAiN pTs. Which is total bullshit! And they’re the ones that started me on taking shit loads of pk’s.

I have read articles where lawmakers and the CdC, and other agencies, have publicly stated that the (supposed) 0Pi epidemic laws have done nothing but hurt those ppl that really and truly need it and they’ve urged drs to stop under-Pr€scRibing but those same drs are now scared of having their license taken away. So...they continue to screw us over. Yay us...🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  3. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: Set a reasonable limit. Hell fucking make it like buying cold medicine where they swipe your id and you can't get a bunch. But we know this isn't about logic or public safety. It's about money and control.
  4. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: AKA are such a bunch of fucking capitalist traitors. The liquor lobby has a lot of money in this as well.
  5. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: The major plain leaf companies and the AKA are the ones lobbying against 7 and the other semi-sythetic derivatives, mgm this that and the other. We all know the chemist are just gonna mess with the scaffolding of the compounds and come out with new and even better semi-sythetic alkoloids of kratom. They are already playing with cats-claw
  6. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @moai just asked chatgpeetea and it looks like plain leaf kratom is safe, they arent banning it. Just 7-Hydroxymitragynine, MGM15 ,16 , and pseudoindoxyl
  7. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: Wait... @moai they are federally banning plain leaf kratom too???
  8. moai @ moai: @MorphineOrfan how fucking stupid is this shit. We better see some new shit come out, I’m most upset about banning regular kratom because really? Millions of people have got off hard opioids with it. They must want everyone on methadone instead.

  11. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: If bans were done to logic so much of what is illegal now would end up prescription only and I think the powers that be react faster than they think... if they think at all
  12. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: They aren't specifically targeting SR and 7oh
  13. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @RiftChems well sr-17018 is an orphine analogue after all, and they are banning all orphines so that makes sense. Orphines are spiking the OD death rates majorly these past few months.
  14. AlHoffman69 @ AlHoffman69: CANDYMAN ramnemnber thta is will be conme relevenaent soon :alien:    🤑
  15. RiftChems @ RiftChems: crazy they are banning SR17018 at the same time. they know what theyre doing.
  16. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: The ban of 7oh is gonna have a lot of people needing help soon. Assuming they do ban instead of regulate like they should
  17. AlHoffman69 @ AlHoffman69: shout out to all our vets and citizens this is our day of pride love all of ya 🌭
