Nitromethaqualone:
Iupac  name: 3-(2-methoxy-4-nitrophenyl)-2-methylquinazolin-4-one
CAS NO: 340-52-3
Chemical Formula: C16H13N3O4
Mol. Wt.: 311.29 g•mol−1

Nitromethaqualone is an analogue of methaqualone that has similar sedative and hypnotic properties. It is significantly more potent (10x) compared to the parent compound; the typical dose is approximately 25 mg. However, the aromatic nitro group is metabolised to the corresponding aniline, which proved to be a mutagen. As a consequence, nitromethaqualone was not developed further due to toxicity concerns.
This product is intended for laboratory research purposes only and are not to be used for any other purposes.

hello,
I sent an email very much related to this topic
here it is again if you were unable to read it:
Have you considered stocking mephenaqualone, 8-methoxy-3-(2-methylphenyl)-2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one?
It is currently being sold in Germany and is very popular among German labs there. Its typical dose is around 5-10 mg
Crucially, it does has proven to not cause seizures like methylmethaqualone and it is not metabolzied into a carcinogen like nitromethaqualone.
There is a lot of love for "qualuudes" and similar substances among the research community. I think given the safety and potency of this analogue, it would be very successful.

two other similar options:
phenaqualone 3-(2-methylphenyl)-2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one (similar potency, but maybe cheaper precursor)
cl-ppq 3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one (similar potency, slightly shorter acting, also has very cheap precursor)
pptq 3-(4-methylphenyl)-2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one also about as potent but may cause seizures in higher doses

Extremely dangerous chem, and anyone would be CRAZY to touch this with a 20 foot pole. It's mutagenic and carcinogenic. This will literally alter your DNA and fuck you up. NEVER EVER EVER touch this chem. These chink fucks just put out junk sometimes and couldn't care less what happens to us.

yes, that's why i suggested safe, extremely potent and economical alternatives to be produced.
safe because they don't have the nitro group (the part that leads to carcinogenicity), nor do they have the 4-methyl substitution (which leads to seizures).

potent (doses 5-20mg depending on the compound), safe, and just good as the original compound subjectively.

although, even with nmq, the concerns are overblown. only 1-2mg of the aniline in nitromethaqualone are even produced. i guarantee you you are consuming more and nastier carcinogens every time you smoke something, or even eat charred meat.
