Just wanna see people's views on N20 aka whippits, I've seen them a lot at concerts sold as balloons and had friends who would buy 50lb tanks. What's the price for them and are they worth it? I see you can even get them on a popular auction site and was curious.

Haven't heard of those in a while. I used to have a friend who always had it with her, but at the time, I didn't think much of it. Could be because at that stage of life, I was into getting "totally wasted". I would actually be curious to try it now and see what I think. Now that the last thing I want to be is wasted lol.

It's called Hippy Crack but doesn't make you all wacky & twitchy like cook up does ???, for like 40 dollars I see you can buy #120 8mg canisters. That's like a hit or 2 out of each and the high tho short lived is like 2nd to none. I've dabbled with it when I had friends around who were big into smoking D EM T & passing a huge tank around with a mask on it like being at the dentist. Only problem is you never wanna run out and people get greedy with it, it's like come on just 1 more hit man please!!! Guess that's why they call it hippy crack, it's something you don't do by itself I guess, like at least be taking some ?'s or something.

I used to love these things about 30 years ago, but I haven't tried them in years. They are a hell of a lot of fun. You can also just inhale the gas off a whipped cream container. As a kid, I'd go into a supermarket and drain a bunch of those.

I used to enjoy them on occasion at shows and concerts....I havent done them in years and really have no desire anymore.  They are not worth it to me....I always thought I could hear what little brain cells I had sizzling on a skillet as I used them.  I also witnessed a few friends pass out while doing them and hit their heads and end up with some nasty bumps and bruises.....Its funny how you look at things when you age.....I cant believe I sat in a lawn chair on a beautiful July day at RFK stadium smoking weed, sucking on balloons, drinking Heinekens and eating a grill cheese sandwich made on a gas grill in a dusty parking lot.   Ahhhh the good ole days :)

Omg bro that happened to me once when I was getting up to open to the door for my fiancé. I must've blacked out and hit the table face first, luckily she was able to kick to the door in idk how she only weighs 115lbs. I remember waking to being slapped and hearing her voice, she's a military medic but she's always been my medic. I give her my prescriptions to hold and tell her to give me a days worth everyday cuz I have no control with my meds. I miss those days like 8 years ago between Highschool & college times. Going to shows in NYC, on extc, drinking, smoking, El S D, boomers, pills, and walking around with those balloons. Now that I think of it, it sounds like I was out of control but like last night I took a few @dd3ral 30 IR's to do some holiday cleaning and I woke up this morning with a bad headache from last-night. Feel like an old man now lol

It's a lot cheaper using the the lil whip it chargers with the pure nitrous whip it's, but free is always great. I never use the whip cream bottles cuz I know I'll want more but it's a nice cheap legal way to get your kicks. I bought a whip cream charger like 10 years ago, they're like 15 USD. Or online I just saw a deal for 100 whip it's & a brand new whip cream charger for like $45 or Best Offer. That's like a day of watching TV while having fun ???

I don't think you can  suck the gas   from the whip cream contaner. If you meen the silver bullets you put in whip contaner then screw  cap down to fill it. I 've heard it real bad for your lungs if you do it that way from the legal high shop in town. You can freeze your lungs like you can on butane gas. Never tried it that way

You used to be able to suck the gas off the cans 35 years ago--I can't say what they're doing now. The silver bullets have gas that's much more compressed & at lower temps, so you're right you shouldn't do that. The gas in cans though was not compressed, it was just used as a propellant for the creme that whipped and sweetened at the same time.

Do you mean cans that have the cream and nos in one?

I agree use nitrous oxide very carefully because believe me if you have other substances floating around in your system then you can be in trouble. I had to go to A&E on Friday night and they gave me gas and air was sucking like a mad man and still got a sore chest where paramedic was banging me on chest when I just was off in the land of nod in the rabbit hole so to speak and she was not impressed and it takes a good hour to feel normal again I see no fun apart from pain relief and absolute obliterated be very careful with it as it actually replaces oxygen in your brain with nitrous and you know the answer too much and no oxygen your a gonna and then as said before frozen lungs and instant death. Weigh up the odds what can seem fun at the time in the moment can soon turn to disaster just my opinion I never thought it was that strong!!

My buds and I would go diving with regular compressed air in our tanks and at 120 feet depth or more, nitrogen narcosis would set in fairly fast. We would all stay at 90-95 feet and one of us at a time would godown to about 120 to 130 feet with a line tied to our waist. We would take turns going to "stupid" depth until our air was low, which wasn't long at those depths. Stupid? Yes indeed. Fun? Oh yeah.

Then I met a hot rod racer who was able to get the monster tanks of nitrous for use at the track. He never really got to race as often as he wanted for some odd reason...maybe it was that we would breathe a whole lot more nitrous than he managed to feed into his carburator. Goofy times. That was before cars had fuel injectors, and if our car was broken down we'd have to hitch up the dinosaur.

A bit late on this one but I was literally JUST getting high off these. It’s pretty fun for a quick high. My friends and I sometimes do these. You can get a whip it dispenser for like 40-100 bucks at a local smoke shop and a 50 pack of cartridges for like 30 bucks. 1 of those little tanks can get you pretty high for a bit

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the

  7. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Damn. Just heard Robert Duvall passed away Sunday. That’s a tough one. He’s one of my favorite actors. From Lonesome Dove to the Godfather and many others. We will miss you Mr Duvall. You entertained us for 7 decades. RIP

  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
