I got some 0P 40 which are way to potent for me . I didn’t realize they were the time release ones  and What I have  read online says they can’t be cut there’s no way I can take one whole pill  I don’t even take a whole 10 mg Percocet so I just assumed I could break them up into  quarters But I have been so afraid to break them ( not chew ) break and then take whole 

But reading  about people overdosing because it Released instantly into the bloodstreamgot me so freaked out I’m afraid  to take anything and I’m dying pain

They're not easy to cut, but you will be fine.  Cutting it into quarters sounds about right for your usage.
