I thought it be helpful to post a very useful tool when it comes to converting one 0piate to another to give you a idea of the strength from one to another also gives the Duration and half-life

I commented in the other thread and posted the second link you did here before I read this one.

I think the second one you posted here (medcalc) it is a little more accurate for most meds but not as good for some others based on my own personal experience. None of these are an exact science. The one you listed has a cross tolerance conversion in there if you want and that varies tremendously from person to person and even for each individual and for different meds.

Both are good info for everyone and I recommend they use both and take an amount on the conservative side as you never want to tinker with taking to much when it comes to Opies

Search “Oregon Opioid Conversion Chart.”  It’s simple to use, morphine is used as the baselines for a large array of meds.  This will cross convert for narcotic rotation just like pain management docs do to keep yourself from having a higher than necessary tolerance. If you don’t rotate your meds occasionally then the drug WILL stop providing enough relief.
