hello

so anyway i own a P.O Box, and i also send ebay items to my box also, 1 ebay item for one international item, or sometimes 2 ebay items per week or 2weeks under the 10$ price range with free shipping .

my question is because of that blzzard and some packs were held up , and finally after USPS was able to get back on track some of the packs coming with either come in at the same time or spaced apart,

if its spaced apart i dont mind for example tuesday one pack pick up and than thursday another, but this time i will have  2packs waiting for me at my box with the PINK NOTE to bring to the front and have to sign for both

why should i be worry? the packs are discreet, its not like big shipments of boxes from overseas's just regular loooking mail (not to give away packing description) so for all i care they can think its just a bunch of paperwork, but than sometimes i walk up to that front counter and they probably look at me and  i look at them back, and there prob wondering wtf is this WHITE DUDE doing ordering from India, and in my head im like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah just keep quite and wait til they ask for your signature and walk away cooooooooool lol

Mrcool. You really need to stop worrying about every. single. thing.
You are always SO anxious that you might want to step back and consider if ordering like this is an ok fit for you. Just a suggestion. It seems to stress you out more than ever. I'm not being snarky...truly this might not be something you are comfortable enough to do without freaking out about every possible far fast scenario. I'm sure things have happened that we all hope and pray don't happen to anyone here but those things are rare and sometimes exaggerated. (I hope I didn't snake bite myself!JUST KIDDING!)

So either chill out or stop ordering. You are driving yourself crazy with all of the worrying and "what ifs". I say all of this is a nice way, btw.

I have some advice Mr.Cool... what works for me as far as worry goes is that I tell myself a believable scenario and then I believe it!  For instance in your case I would tell myself I am corresponding with a woman I met on an Indian dating site.  But take my word for it as someone who has worked in the post office... the clerks are not wondering about you or who you correspond with, they are thinking of their next break and what they will do when they get home.

LOL. Don't toke up before you go. Then take the pinkie up there, hand it to them (as you are keeping your mouth shut), wait for them to bring you a paper to sign, sign it, then leave (all while keeping your mouth shut). If they ask anything, tell them you won the international lottery, and are waiting for the paperwork to claim your 2.2billion in gold. Admit nothing, and offer nothing. BTW what is a pink note? Maybe the parcel got damaged?

Or say it is Viagra, and start to offer a very descriptive explanation of why you need it. I'm sure that will speed the process up!

i meant orange or whatever color slip that is that your pack is ready for pick up :/

If you want, I will meet ya there and get it for ya for a small 20% of the parcel fee. If the clerk gives me any guff, I will just flash my badge and that will be the end of it. Oh damn prob really scared ya now. BTW it is a Federal Booty Inspector badge, most people do not read it though.

I've dealt with the orange slips many times. I've had packages that rattled like crazy and the postal worker never batted an eye. They don't care. They will ask for ID, go get your package, have you sign the slip, and give you the package.

mrcoolguy I got nothing but respect for you! I know your not going to take this the wrong way as I mean well.

I've had to pick up a package from India from the post office in person once, I was nervous yes, the worker took a good look at the package as be brought it over to me with the sound of shaking pills in blister packs.. Quite frankly I figured its none of their business what is inside it, customs do their job and the post office works do theirs.. If the package passed customs fine then you have nothing to fear from the post office workers, hell even if they know what is it, say they cut it open and had a sneak peak behind your back, so what! Nobody's perfect!

There are bigger issues in the world than you and your medication.

I find myself when I take the Tranax from India I get all worked up over things like this.. I dont know if that is what X@nax does or if its just the Tranax brand or India stuff but when I take Tranax I get exactly like how you feel right now about EVERYTHING.

What helps with that is a good old aussie V@lium! 10mg of the Val's you'll get from a chemist here in Australia will take away ALL your worries away. I think we should continue this in a PM but I'd also like to create a new thread in regards to the different effects X@anax has to V@lium because I find it strange..

@MatthewM, feedback appreciated /default_tongue.png but i did have a pack sliced open and peaked inside and poorly tapped back up back in late December but because of the packaging they were unable to discover what was

Maybe I misunderstood. Was this package supposed to be delivered with no signature and now the PO is asking for one? That's a little different than knowing you are going to be asked to sign for a package. Now, I still think you are fine, but there is a difference.

If I were you, mr cool, I would order from a vendor who does not send a tracking number and doesn't require signature delivery. I use a very reliable vendor who ship that way and it serves two purposes. I won't worry over entry/customs etc and I know I won't have to sign. Problem solved.

I did not mean to make you feel bad, if indeed my earlier post did so. I can see you are honestly anxious about this and I guess you just have to ask yourself if it is worth the worry you go through while ordering. We can give you all of the assurances in the world, but in the end, it is you that takes the risk, minimal as it may be.

Why don't you try ordering from a source you don't track and don't sign for.... That will be easier on your nerves for sure.

i feel beatup /default_sad.png, il be quiet for now
You are the one causing yourselfe to feel that way! Just chill. I have picked up indian letters many many times at the PO. I would say inthe hundreds.. Nothing ever happenex.

For what it's worth Mr.c my post was meant to be helpful too. Just sharing what I always do.

Same for me. I have picked up & signed fof many packages from India with never an eye batted at me. I have s friend that retired from the post office & they just want to do their job & go home. They are not worried about on little package.

  9. C @ ClintEastwood: Well I got burned on my first buy. It stral sucks the guy has sole things in stock. But definitely what I ordered and I thought he was honest because I asked for something very close to it and i said what about that one. Yeah I got it. And the comms were wired and he was really wanting me to make his forum board look better. Now I know the first thing to look at even before the menu. But I have some business with usps tomorrow and will ask for everything mailed to me especially packages
  10. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: Policies have changed and i would behoove everyone to due their due diligence and go have a look. The guidelines from 5-10 years ago dont apply. And rules, regulations and laws may not either, i mean do you see anyone giving 2 sh1tz about the C0n$tituti@n recently?
  11. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @rasetreydir, yeah those are good af too
  12. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @Ross7223, they should boycott pre-paid p0stage
  13. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: @Gulp2788, no they do not as of sept 25, u cant assume everything is the same, or anything for that matter. Its a brave new A-1 world folks.
  14. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: My milage has differed to yours though, I've found them incredibly reliable with their tracking and 3 day delivery is pretty accurate.
  15. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I agree but U5PS has to go through a legal process to search packages. Private companies can open your mail at their discretion.
  16. Ross7223 @ Ross7223: @Gulp2788 because they always lose pckgs, track1ng is never right, never is 3 day deliv3ry like they say
  17. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @Ross7223 From my understanding that's actually counter-productive, but maybe you know something I don't. Why do you say that?
  18. Ross7223 @ Ross7223: Vendor$ should boycott U5P5, they are terrible!
  19. Thoth @ Thoth: Happy Weekend! Let’s Get It!!!
