I've been reading about different vendors and checking their sites and and paypal seems not to be an option at the sites i've looked at. I prefer using paypal for online transactions as i trust them and i don't need to give my credit card details to anyone but them. do i need to look into other methods of payment? Western union, money gram and bitcoin seems popular, but i've never used any of those methods before. Also i'm from norway, i don't know if that presents any other challenges. Willing to use other means, but i'm concerned with security and privacy.

Edit. to say i'm new at this would be an understatement as i've never ordered meds off the internet before, so please be kind an understanding :)

Well, it's fair to say @Jellopanda, this is not amazon or eBay. PP is a very rare form of payment in this scene, and is open to abuse by customers, which is why guess it isn't popular. Security is usually your own making, but reading around about these other payment methods may help you understand more. ☺

Oki. I'll educate myself then. Bitcoin seems interesting. I'm partial to all new internet innovations. Thanks for input.

Instead of learning about these other kinds of payments i'm kinda tempted to just use my credit card since it's so easy (despite my talk about security in my original post) I'm lazy sometimes and i try to fight that, but would you guys say that's a definite no-no, tempting the devil? I get that it's up to me, but please tell me if i'm about to do something stupid.

After a couple of years of the stress, time, gas and chaos required to use Western Bunion and Moneygrab and the hell on earth that is dealing with constantly changing receiver names, I finally said that's it, no more, not now, not ever, not NEVER.  Now I only work with vendors who accept CCs online, PayPal online or proven-trusted vendors who accept CIM.

Soon the security requirements for WU/MG will be so tight that anonymity on the U.S. side will be a thing of the past, forcing our Southern brothers from SY mothers to find another way to accept payment or just go broke from lack of U.S. sales.  There ARE other ways already possible that require neither the buyer nor seller to leave the house.  One of those ways was so clever and stress-free that I nearly wept at the easy-peasyness of it all.

When I begin communication with a new email-only vendor, I explain from the git-go that I don't do WU/MG or Xoom who cancels transactions (after the first successful one) as a matter of policy.  I ask if other payment options are available and if not, thank them very kindly for their time and move on to other vendors who might be able to work with me.

As far as risk with using CCs online, I keep orders small in quantity and dollar, sometimes even less than $100 and as yet never over $300, and orders from those vendors are usually for asthma meds or small amounts of codeine.

The vast majority of overseas email-only vendors use WU/MG as their primary payment method, but it never hurts to ask if they're amenable to alternative methods.

If you are lucky to find a vendor which accepts CC, you don't have to use your real CC (the one linked to your bank account)

You can use 1. prepaid virtual credit card (google is your friend)

or 2. walk into a bank. Most banks offer prepaid gift cards. They are plastic debit cards and they can be used for online meds shopping as well as standard grocery shopping.

It seems, most sellers here accept only MG or WE, which sucks a lot, at least for me.

I have had success using zoom by logging in using paypal instead of registering through the site.

There are good reasons why vendors don't accept PayPal and CC payments. PayPal blocks any account with all the funds in it without any explanation and never releases the funds. The credit card processors (even those who agree) are just waiting for some good amount to be gathered and block the funds and just keep them, knowing well that the owner of the web site will not start an international law procedure to sue them.

After a vendor gets burnt and loses a lot of money few times with PayPal and other few times with credit card processors, he stops accepting these payment methods.

Do any vendors take PayPal/google pay/ChasePay? So far I've contacted 7 and all said only WU or Moneygram which just isn't possible for me. I hate wasting my time searching if that's just not a viable payment option here anymore. Anyone have any insight about a vendor who possibly takes these payment methods?

I don't think there are any left, it's too easy to be stung as a vendor, that's why they don't offer it.

PayPal and credit card payment processors are blocking vendor's accounts with the money inside.

No vendor would like to "make sales" without being able to receive the payments.

Even the PayPal account of DGB was blocked by PayPal and now the only way to send a donation is by Bitcoin.

If you want to be able to make payments online, start using Bitcoin. Some vendors accept Bitcoin.

I sell Bitcoin via PayPal and other options if you need coin to donate or buy from vendors. You can check my Bitcoin 101 post to help you get started. I feel like more vendors are switching to this option as it's easier and faster.
