Pepirine caps

Also known as black pepper extract, biopepine, and a couple other names. 10mg = about 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

It increases the secretion of digestive enzymes so supps/nutrients/vitamins/etc breakdown faster, thereby increasing bioavailability.

Works great with turmeric (~2000% increase in bioavailability, if I remember correctly).

Also works with, kratom, adderall, nootropics, nutrient-rich foods in general, coffee, green and black tea, apple cider vinegar... just about everything.

People that have problems absorbing nutrients take it to increase the effectiveness of therapeutic drugs. It's also why black pepper with spinach, asparagus, broccoli, and brussel sprouts is so damn good.

I've found it most effective if taken with a small amount of high carb/high fat warm foods like rice and butter; they will cause your body to send more blood to your stomach, further enhancing the effects. Ginger ale (real ginger ale—like Seagrams, not the cheap generic crap) also enhances its effects.

It's been amazing in my experience.

If you're using it for P-glyco protein inhibition stronger and easier more practical options to use are. Proton Pump Inhibitors. Read how PPIs like (stomach acid reducers) Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for example not sure the strongest one is for P-gp Inhibition. It's especially good for something like Adder0l (0pi0ids too) where lowering stomach acidity also increases absorption too for example. Stomach Acid reducers will decrease absorption of vitamins+other supplements @BrokenLeashesAllOverTheFloor mentioned in fact long-term use of stomach acid reducers can cause vitamin/mineral deficiencies due to not enough stomach acid.

The flavonoid supplement Quercetin is known to be a strong P-gp inhibitor too. It's sold as a herbal supplement used for various reasons. Bromelain+Vitamin C increase it's low oral bioavailability. Combining other flavonoids like those in Grapefruit Juice helps too. More than 1000mg of Quercetin daily long-term will cause kidney damage keep that in mind. It's a strong CYP3A4 and CYP1A2 Inhibitor too. If that's a concern for you unlike Omeprazole (Prilosec) which Inhibits CYP3A4 and CYP2C19 Pantoprazole (Tecta) doesn't.

There are others I think. I can't remember right now I'm so sleepy.

@porkandbeansboy Thanks for that primer- you’re a wealth of information on this subject! Any insights into  boosting enzyme efficacy, for example CYP2D6 in metabolism of codeine & tramadol? Or any other biochem hacks up your sleeve?

Well some people say it can't be inhibited. I have read one person say it can take 1-2 weeks to work at least if not longer for inducing CYP2D6 etc, unlike for CYP Inhibition that only takes 2 hours to fully take effect. I don't know about that though I only read it in a post on a nother forum. I think maybe "fully work" possibly...that being said.

St. John's Wort, (I think I know it induces CYP3A4 strongly) I know Valerian Root the higher causes a dose linear CYP2D6 Inhibition (meaning consuming more causes stronger inhibition. A dose of roughly 360MG Ginkgo Biloba to Induce CYP2D6 Alcohol. When I drank half a tall boy (I wouldn't drink more than 1-2 beers without a tolerance to be safe) an hour before taking the Codeine I slowly drank the other half and the Codeine felt a lot better it wasn't placebo I'm to self aware and if I didn't have GABA tolerance at the time I would think it was the Alcohol if it was more than a small amount too. That's why idk if it takes 1-2 weeks along with other cyp idnucing things I did and CYP3A4 inhibiting etc.

When I was reading and scouring google high lol for CYP liver enyzme inducers to make Codeine produce more morphine this was what I found. If that is what your trying to do then Inhibiting CYP3A4 will help in theory by making less Codeine metabolite allowing for more morphine to be converted although the metabolite is now currently believed to contribute the pain relief more than they thought it's just not as strong as the morphine produced by the liver after the initial dose hence they made a time released Codeine Contin Version up to 200mg without Tylenol like 10 years ago.

BTW studies have indicated Codeine can potentially lead to hearing loss as seen with people over a 7 year period. Some poor people lost their hearing 100% completely after their 1st use of Codeine it's something that's always in the back of my mind when I of it so.

  14. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @AnnaSofia - Your name came up right away. I checked settings and couldn’t see any that seemed like they’d affect SB. Good to see you too!
  15. IndigoVault @ IndigoVault: Hey people, my privacy settings are totally whacked I am hiding from my mother 🧑 in law but please forgive me, just wanted to drop in and say hello, and thank you
  16. A @ AnnaSofia: @WTF7218 your name didn’t pop up as I started to type it in SB. Maybe it has something to do with privacy settings like some people don’t accept DMs and whatever else is in the privacy settings. There’s nothing related to SB in there but maybe if you check certain settings it carries over to SB? Who knows, but good to see you :)
