I think the pixel size is too large MC for an avatar...I would go into Google under images and see if you can find a smaller pic. I will check it out..If I can find one, I will post a link...

It is hard for me as well. To figure out the pic thing.

In general is it hard to do on an iPad? Put a pic on.

I get so frustrated it makes me dizzy. It took me a year to manage putting pics on Facebook. Yikes ..

I have an iPhone 5. Any advice on a way to do it on that? Sorry to intrude on your blog chat but I have issues too.

I googled "free avatars" and looked through them until I found some I liked.  I found out this site only accepts very small avi pics so I had to re-size a couple of times before it would accept it.  It wouldn't accept this one until it was 1"x1".

When you are in your profile ready to put your avi in you get a choice of using an outside link or one in your hard drive.  If the outside link is too large you have to re-size it smaller and then the only way you can post it smaller is to first save the re-sized version to your hard drive.  To resize click on Tools.  To save click on File and then Save (I always save to desktop as it is easier to find). 

Once you have saved the smaller version and you are in your profile click on "Browse" and this will open your hard drive.  Find the pic you saved and double click on that and you are done.

 
Yay! Mr. C is getting an avatar! I ended up with my skull because I was frustrated trying to shrink my picture of 2earls.

I just used a free avatar site like Suzie. That was much easier.

 
Google 'clip art images'...

They are usually small in their file size, so useable : )

Otherwise you'll just go fucking insane trying to find different programmes to shrink the file size of your image... And they all claim to do it, until you download the bastards and get even angrier at their total uselessness!!

Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.

After a couple of weeks and finally getting several documents in order I was able to get a state ID. It had been expired previously for a little too long and they wanted all kinds of proof. It was a mess. But nah I looked up what to look for an my state's ID to see if it is a Real Id or not and my card as the symbol it is supposed to have. I'll take a closer look though
