Reading At Home Tests -- Light Lines = Negative?

Those who've tested at home, how do you interpret a test with a VERY faint positive line? Where the positive line is so light it barely has any colour, that you could miss unless you look very very closely under bright light. Or one that looks negative at first then slowly turns faintly positive later.

Would you consider this kind of result positive or negative? And does anyone know if labs consider it positive or negative?

Well, here's my at home test as of today (posting from my phone so I can't get the image to post, sorry):

FWIW, I wimped out and called in sick for the test. I was still getting significant lines on the at home tests. Now I'm just clean of the substance in question so no more worries about passing tests.
