Recommendations for crypto exchange in the uk?

First of all I’m really sorry if I’ve missed the answer somewhere. I’ve used the search bar, I tried the website in the pinned post regarding an EU exchange but it doesn’t load for me. I’m about to open one with kraken but wanted to ask people who know more before I committed. Brand new to the site and to crypto in general, please excuse any ignorance.
 
if you can use kraken, it's probably one of the best options.

i can't recall if i read about them delisting monero in uk due to regulatory concerns, but if that's the case, you can just buy something else and send it to a swapping service for access to that.

if you're just looking to use bitcoin then it should be no big deal.
