So I am new to chronic pain, started taking Vics 6 months ago, when they stopped working I was switched to Percs 5mg and then 7.5mg.

They are better but don't really take away the pain!  Tried Oxy after buying in Honduras on a cruise and it just knocked me out, could never take during the day.

I want to take something that will better control the pain without being a sleeping pill so to speak!  In the hospital after trying 2 sets of injejctions I was given IV Dillaudid which worked great, took away all of my pain, and did not knock me out.  Tried a sample of Dill from an SY Vendor and it did just make me super sleepy!  Can anyone with experience with Opana or Roxy give me any info?  Anything else I should consider?  I can't take sedatives I need to function during the day!

After being on pain meds for about 15 years, I can tell you not to take anything to strong to fast, it will just knock you out, your body isn't used to it, you have to go up in mg slowly, and thats why your doctor will only increase your mg intake over time, at my highest mg, I was up to 300 mg a day, I personally think R@@xies work the best for me, everyone is different, and I had multiple surgeries, and several car accidents, but now thanx to obamacare and dr regulation, everyone is being cut back, my dr started this spring and I am in so much pain daily, but he dosen't want to hear it, says his hands are tied, thats why I joined this forum, it has been a godsend

just be careful taking to strong a med and too many mg if your not tolerant, you do have to try a few and see what works best for you, and good luck getting anything much stronger from your doctor, good luck
