I can't believe there has been no mention of the Olympics yet?.. 

I for for one am thoroughly enjoying them... 

Gymnastics have to be among my favourite events... I mean, I consider myself as quite athletic and take extremely good care of my body! But, holy crap! Those folks are the epitomy of physical perfection!... Although, don't get me wrong? There are some odd looking entities in there too! But, the USA team has some serious talent!.. And I watched a Dutch girl win gold on the balance beam and her routine nearly made my cry! 

I am a track and field event whore too! And it's always nice to see Usain Bolt kicking some arse!.. And team GB are currently second in the medal tables?! : )

However, I don't know what it is, but I do find myself utterly transfixed by the women's beach volleyball? Must be all the excellent commentating? It could be the outfits though, I don't know?.. In all honesty, my ears seem to stop working whenever they're playing ; )

 
I saw some of it like the womens hockey was good and the track cycling was a complete sunday ride in the park for GB.  

It will be a disappointing not seeing Bolt at the next Olympic because he said this is is last one.  Hopefully the weather will be good for the world championships next year in the UK, so we can see if Bolt can beat his 200m world record. He only just missed it this time. What a legend. There wont be another sprinter like that in my life time I doubt. Was a pleasure to see what he has achieved
