I am really unfamiliar with this relaxer I was prescribed. Has anyone here taken this before, and are there any serious side effects or warning i should be aware of that i haven't found just from browsing info on the net. I would really like some personal input if possible please and thanks ahead of time.

Methocarbamol is pretty good stuff. i have used it in the past and it is an odd one, no relaxing effect, until you pass out and wake up in exactly the same position three hours later!

Robaxin is the commercial name.

Well, I do appreciate any kind of info on it. I have not really noticed much of a difference when I take it drowsiness wise. It has reduced the spasms in my back.

On my second day taking this... Now I am very sleepy wow. Obviously it is a bit stronger than I had thought. I am also taking a steroid pack with it, I think that might be the reason for it.

Probably dead right there. I used methocarbomol before and after Arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder as i had horrible spasms after the tendons started to recoil. Cyclobenzaprine or Artaine(?) were the other choices, but also knock me out.

It is a tried and true medication, Robaxin has been around for a while and really does the business for most people. I am glad to hear it is working for you!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks so much. I am very pleased with the fact I feel semi-human again. LOL I am able to move around about the house doing everyday things again. I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. Thanks so much for your input.

Any leads on reliable sources for Robax? Wish I had brought more with me when I had left Canada. *grumble*

  10. M @ Mammasboi123: Thanks @MGAJB6122. I think for future reference, everyone should get in the habit of using the “report” button found on the bottom left of the top comment in threads like the ones mentioned in order to flag threads like this. I’d imagine it’s easier on @Admin than having to check the shout box every day or so.
  11. M @ MCAJB6122: Along the same lines… https://drugbuyersguide.info/threads/clobromazolam.10083/. It shows up on the first page 4 entries down when you search for this compound
