Safe Mail Closed New User Registrations

Registration may be closed but I had no problem logging it. I'm already a member though..

I'm not trying to be a smart ass just wanted to mention the site s working.

Maybe it's a maintenance issue or since the site is free maybe they have a limited number of members.

Makes sense, guess I'll just keep checking to see if they open up again.

Thanks.

Hmmm, sounds odd?..

Like HB, I'm already a member, so I can log on?... Maybe it's a server issue?... Unless they're currently getting fucked over by the various government of the world?!...

How dare we communicate privately!!

Was open again this morning and I was able to register.

I have also been wanting to join so I'm relieved to hear they are functioning again. Am going to check it out now to see if they will accept me as a new registration....

I can see that this is an old topic, but Safe-Mail is still not allowing users to add new accounts.  Very odd indeed!

fyi - safe- mail is anything but safe ! All their traffic goes through Israel as that's where they come from

and Israel has a tech agreement with the US. They will go the way of hush mail who closed tons of accounts

after using keyword bots to find accounts with drug references in them.

If your poor atm get a Riseup account , either get the codes for one or write a nice essay to the rise up team

about the state of the planet and you'll get on...seriously;

https://help.riseup.net/

or

get countermail , diskless - end to end and full pgp protection for £36  a year...cant be sneezed at!

Thanks for posting this, though I must admit I am not totally conversant with the information in the link, I will research of course. I just moaned a few moments ago about not being able to open a SafeMail account! AND I forgot I posted in this thread already about it, apologies mods!!!

the safe -mail free accounts are "temporarily unavailable"  looks like a dig to get people

to buy premium accounts , time of year etc.....

Unlike riseup , safemail are a business and like hushmail and securemail they can never

be viable over the long term if they don't get paid accounts.....

Countermail are what all the serious vendors use as PgP being built in means you don't have

to bother learning how to use it manually.

Additionally you can also search for "silent circle" - the company  set up by Phil Zimmerman

the guy who invented PGP encryption for military contractors then freed it onto the net....

I know this thread is about SM but CM is relatively cheap for piece of mind in my opinion.

Heck we spend more on shipping on one order. I believe this service is really one of the most secure.

Again, sorry for posting in the wrong thread.

I still have my riseup .....despite them getting the odd server seized by the DoJ every once in a while.

Tbh with the SR bust approaching the courts and the BTC providers who aided SR getting sentenced

the gov't are not hassling riseup to much.

countermail is the daddy - use a prepaid CC and then you are totally invisible....

If you can hand out cash for pharma's you can certainly afford a 1yr account with countermail -

(I don't get paid for saying that I just like dealing with people who use countermail I feel more at ease

knowing conversations are totally private)...lol

I'm thankful this thread was hijacked a little.  Never looked into CM before coming back in here and catching up.  Built in PGP is a damn nice option.  I'm definitely willing to pay for a service when there is value there worth the money, in this case I see the value for sure.

I saw you mention silent circle but I thought they and lavabit closed up shop after the whole NSA debacle?

I just opened a new safe-mail account yesterday, easy as always.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: restore my thread now and if i decide to sell i will get the admin's permission as the rules clearly state i'm supposed to do so.
  2. xenxra @ xenxra: i did not explicitly offer to sell anything, i asked how much people would be willing to pay for something
  3. xenxra @ xenxra: i checked the forum rules and i did not break any with that post
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: i posted a thread a couple days ago asking how much people would be willing to pay for bulk 4fmph and a mod or the admin deleted it with the reasoning "you should know better"
  5. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That's what I thought. I haven't seen it around in a minute.
  6. L @ Layne_Cobain: Big league chew was fire and crazy addictive I remember cause like you said it was so soft so always felt like you weren’t chewing on enough until you had the whole pack in your mouth looking like an ole baseball pitcher with a cheek full of chaw
  7. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  8. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???
  9. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: That big league chew was fire tho fr!!

  14. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  15. xenxra @ xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  16. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.
