Wow...I have only started to read it - it's amazing...Has anyone read it as well? I do not want anyone to tell me the end of this novel as I want to finish it myself, but quite interesting to hear your impressions as well;)

I have not read it (or even heard of it) but I'm hooked on audio books as I travel extensively for work. I am going to check it out though. Love good book recommendations!

 
Yay! A reading thread! Shantaram is one of my favorite books. It was supposed to have been made into a movie, but for some reason, that never came to pass.

What's even more amazing is that it is based on Gregory David Roberts true life story. I've loaned this book out many times and have had all positive reviews.

The big near-half-pound slab of Hersheys Symphony bar with the BLUE label is hands down the best mainstream chocolate bar in America. You folks over across the pond kill it with Cadbury’s and I won’t deny it’s the best but those damn blue symphonies have me hooked.
