I suffer from insomnia, sleep apnea and shift work sleep disorder. As you can imagine my nervous system and brain are fried and I deal with some pretty heavy fatigue.

I also have CPTSD so I'm prescribed venlaflaxine, mirtazapine and prazosin along with 2 other tablets for high blood pressure. And I occasionally get a script for valium from my doctor.

Over the last year I've picked up a rather expensive amphetamine habit. I'm seeing my psychiatrist some time in the next few months to review medication and look at a possible adult diagnosis of ADHD, as my son was diagnosed last year.

I'm wondering if anybody else has had similar issues and how you cope? Both chemical and healthy coping mechanisms are fine.

Yes, are you taking the correct amount of valium that is prescribed?

Also how bad is your amph habit?

anything over 60 mg has diminishing returns and is dumb its just your brain.

So if your on 200 mg a day ... cut to 100 then 60 and take some rest days :)

Yup I don't go overboard on the valium. 50 5mg tabs usually last a couple of months.

As for the uppers. Roughly 1pt so 100mg on my 12hr shift days and I try not to use on my days off.

I had last week off due to roster changes and didn't use amps at all except for some mdma on Saturday night. Felt extremely refreshed when I came back yesterday and when my dealer packed me a complimentary bowl the gear hit a lot smoother and I didn't wake up feeling scattered today, so the break did me a lot of good.

Yes the off days can be tough also but its part of being normal YOUR not a robot lol on amphs its so hard to connect with other people when your so overly focused on other things

My housemate has a script, but hypnotics aren't easy to get in Australia. I bought some zopiclone a while back which helped immensely.
None of these medication help REM sleep

but will put you to sleep

which is better than no sleep haha

I'm trying to get my doctor to get me on valium

Yeah gotta keep that balance and practice harm reduction!

They zonk you much like cannabis but unfortunately don't improve the REM quality which sucks. I'm also using melatonin as per my doctors suggestion which helps when I'm sleeping at night but not during the day when I have work that night.

Im not a doctor but you can get things for these days that will help you push through ... low dose   seroquel ... can def help knock you out

Oh I'm well aware, haha.

Personally not a fan of seroquel. Tried once and it floored me but might not hurt to try again. Currently the only extra I'm using is cannabis until I get my next benzo script.

Were you on a higher dose? Higher doses have antipsychotic effects where the lower doses will just sedate you and you wont produce any dopamine and serotonin that will keep you awake

Wasn't prescribed and I can't recall the dose. A mate gave me one tablet to see if it helped. Definitely might be worth looking into. I'll mention sedatives to the psychiatrist since that's the only way to get anything strong, legally at least, here.

I recommend this channel to

you very resourceful

The overall channel is fantastic

Also ambien might not be a bad idea but its not REM sleep
I agree with ambien. It is the only thing that actually makes me feel like I slept. I've tried almost everything. The only bad part is it will make you sleepwalk. I've woke to find messes in the kitchen that I dont remember anything about. And I was told I drove my car once. So now I lock my keys in a lock box. Just dont drink a lot of alcohol when you take it.

It doesn't make me sleepwalk, but the only way I can "legally" get anything stronger than melatonin or sleeping antihistamines in Australia is through a psychiatrist and mine keeps rejecting my referrals because I don't qualify for financial hardship because I have a full time job. Never mind the fact I currently don't have a single dollar to my name. This country is fucked.

  1. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: We made it to another Friday ladies and gents. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, be safe out there.
  2. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z i have no clue what the supply and demand is like for brick and mortar shops, i havnt been in a smokeshope in 15-20years and back then none of them had or even knew what kratom was. Ive always bought kratom from vendors online, back in tge day we would use babel fish translator to haggle with vendors on kilo prices lol. But you dont need to worry mit will always be available if leaf is.
  3. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @nameofuser11 its not just 7/mgm/psuedo and sr, the dea has a huge list of compounds its banning with this ban. Odsmt is one, all the orphines and a ton more.
  4. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Lole onion sites?
  5. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: @eiffraffca what ya mean
  6. R @ Riffraffca: Has anyone used and markets on the Dark Web?
  7. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @nameofuser11 Lol, happens to the best of us my friend. I think plain leaf will remain pretty easy to access, and prices shouldn’t fluctuate too much. Read up on how to use btc if you don’t know already. It’s not rocket science :)
  8. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: I donated and I forgot how to get the password. I am a moron. Don't worry I have no plans on becoming a vendor with my stupidity
  9. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: @st1ckyf1ng4z you're right of course. But being able to purchase with a debit card on a clearnet site with quality labs and low prices will be gone.
  10. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: Especially if they’re using mitragynine as the parent alk to make substitutes. I think it will affect plain leaf too at the very least it will not be as available as it’s been.
  11. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan @nameofuser11 That’s wild. But basic supply/demand tho, right? In my area all the leaf has been pulled off shelves,
  12. J @ j00ciiez: It sucks they're banning sr17. It seems to be a holy grail for many ppl.
  13. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: To clarify plain leaf kratom is not a part of this ban. Mitragynine might be fine. 7, psuedo,mgm15 and sr1708 are what are on the table to be banned most likely but hopefully just regulated.
  14. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z and yes , there are already indole alkoloids with tweaked scaffolding ready to take the place of 7/mgm, all with mitragynine as their parent alkoloid. The game of wack a mole starts the minute 7 is officially banned. Its 2013 K2 all over
  15. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan Also, it’s just a matter of time before another alternative pops up on the market anyway….
  16. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan I couldn’t agree more, bro. It’s fucked up. I recognize prices will rise, but it will always be available…. Stock up now while you can at least if you’re preferred read is opiates. As an ex-fentanyl addict I won’t ever touch any of that shit again. I remember when I started to see 7oh pop up, I knew it was going to end like this but I can understand getting rid of 7oh/mgm-15/16. With that being said, they should leave plain leaf alone!
  17. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z oh trust, i know that, im helping a pretty big vendor transition, to here and dnm , but prices are going to rise bc of risk. But availability is only part of this whole kratom alks situation. We have a serious problem with society. Last year alcohol killed 178,000 people, last year all other drugs combined killed 69,973 Out of those 38,084 were from opiate/opioids and out of those 0 were killed by 7oh. With these numbers we can see the problem with banning 7oh
  18. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Hell i remember when getting 25g of aphip was like 200$ or so
  19. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Dude wants $150 for 5g... I told him nahh doggy cmon.
  20. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Man im tryin to get this one kat to come off that apvp for 75$
