I absolutely love tattoos, and I've been itching to get another one so badly. I got my last one 5 months ago and I already need another one! So I just want to discuss tattoos and what you have and anything thoughts on them! I have 4, an owl, a lotus flower, an alto clef and a treble clef.

I also wanted to ask what you guys thought about tattoos, piercings, dyed hair and such in the work place. Is it become more accepted or rejected? (I also have purple hair, and I am successfully employed).

Personally I think it's becoming a little more accepted, but ever so slightly, depending on the job of course. But I do think it's working it's way up there.

They're brilliant tattoos, especially the owl, such amazing detail.

I think piercings and tattoos are definitely becoming more accepted in 'professional' and formal situations. Our society is definitely warming to it, which is good.

Saying that, I don't have any tattoos or piercings. Did ponder a tattoo of maybe a rabbit or Lucifer's seal, haha, but I never went for it in the end. However, seeing those amazing tattoos does make me ponder it even more. Eep.

I've been wanting a tattoo on my left arm. I'm talking a whole sleeve, from my shoulder to my wrist and possibly on my hand. I have lots of scars from a really bad dog attack a couple years ago and they make me very self conscious. Mind you, I have zero tattoos at this point and people think I'm crazy that I want to go that extreme. I want some colorful Hawaiian flowers. Something like this:

Opinions?

PO-love your tattoos especially the owl. Great detail!

My friend has a tattoo like this and it's beautiful and suits her perfectly. She also has a horrid one that I hesitate to describe. She's definitely a potential member!

Guys there is already a tattoo thread. I will hide this one and we can resume there. Please be careful of starting duplicate posts. Thanks!

That being said, people should be free to express theirselves! I love the anima care field, cuz everyone has tats and piercings and great hair! Cept for some of the DVMs. I have a couple facial piercings, but have never been able to wear them at work except at the animal hospital. No tats here, i just dont like them for me. I admire them on others tho!

i always wanted a "Dum Spiro Spero" tattoo across my back. but i'm fighting the urge to have one. Basically, work issues. Here in my currently job, tattoo are prohibited between workers. It's a shame though.

  20. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: Policies have changed and i would behoove everyone to due their due diligence and go have a look. The guidelines from 5-10 years ago dont apply. And rules, regulations and laws may not either, i mean do you see anyone giving 2 sh1tz about the C0n$tituti@n recently?
