I'm not complaining about the fairly recent changeover to the reputation system. I'm sure it will soon have a concrete application on the site. Just reminiscing about the old days of "Likes".
I still remember the warm feeling I got when I would get an email notification whenever somebody would like one of my posts. It was like getting a nice little pat on the back for a post well placed. Seeing that notification on my android made some of my worst days more tolerable and bright. Of course I'm exaggerating but it was nice to see that there were some members who agreed with me or enjoyed my writing. Now, it seems, we have to go back to the original post to see who voted it up or down. What a pain.
