Has anyone tried Tianeptine? It is sold on nootropics vendors, like New Star, New Mind, etc...

It has mu opioid receptor affinity (full agonist), and at over 100mg, people definitely get an opioid high. However, the regular dose is recommended at 12.5mg, 3x a day to start, and I think 50-100mg/day is about the "safe" dosage, although I know many people who take much higher doses (some people up to more than 1 gram a day, which is just absurd since it is not just an opioid agonist.

However, I did find this to be a useful tool that if used responsibly, could help with opioid addiction - either using it to go from harder opioids to kratom, or some other method. But it definitely is something that is purchased legallly that hits opioid receptors!

 
@AceSlater   I am glad you posted this to the forum.  I spent about 3-4 hours reading about this and it sounds very interesting.  I am going through some shit right now and it seems like this might help me cope.  I am going to order some in a couple of days (maybe this afternoon) and give it a go.  I will definitely report on my experience.  

One thing I liked about it from an anti-depressant point of view is that it seems to work without having to build up in your system like conventional ad's.   Based on what I read the bio-availability properties seem strong and the body seems to tolerate it well.  I don't know that I would dose enough to get high  (well maybe :)  ) but I think as a mood elevator it would suit my needs.  I read about a bunch of experiences on a variety of different sites and it seemed like a relatively safe way to elevate mood.  

Thanks again for posting this and giving me something to research.....I will post my experience after I give it a whirl.

 
@AceSlater  My order should arrive Tuesday.   I ordered from a place in Arizona that seemed to have a bunch of good reviews.  As soon as I receive and test I will report on it here.   Thanks again for posting.....I have been reading about this stuff for hours and it is definitely intriguing.   This is my first foray into Nootropics so I am really excited.

I ordered 25 mg capsules from a place in Arizona.  I didnt read enough to see if they are listed anywhere on the site and I dont know the rules for this thread, so they shall remain nameless.   The company provided great service and the turnaround time was rather quick.  They have a variety of products and I will prolly order something else just to experiment.   

I ordered 60 25mg capsules and I have taken 4 so far.  I havent exactly been clearheaded when I take them so I cant definitively say what the results are.  I do feel something....a calm with a bit of energy.  The first day I took one it seemed as if it made my 10mg perkison last a bit longer.   I took one this morning on an empty stomach and did notice a little energy and a sense of calm without it being to overpowering.  I think I like them and I am going to toy around with them a bit more.  Maybe one day I will be clear-headed enough to notice a distinct sensation. I do think there is something to them......

 
@aintnouse You may have ordered the Tianeptine Sulfate. That is longer lasting but not as hard hitting. The Tianeptine HCL (sodium) is harder hitting. I recommend getting the powder and capping it yourself. Be careful though - it is very addicting and can lead to an addiction worse than rx opioids because of its legality, access, and other side-effects when used at high doses enough to get opioid effects. There's a lot of horror stories, but okay when used responsibly.

 
@AceSlater Thats exactly what I ordered.  I did order that intentionally as I wasnt sure if I would like it and didnt want a bunch of it sitting around.  I have been having local success regarding the perKisons so I havent been using the Tia as much.  I think on my next go around I will give the powder a whirl.  I am just a little too impatient to sit and measure and cap my own.  Hell I dont even grind my smoke...just throw it in a bowl.  

Like you, I have read some crazy freaking stories on this stuff.  Pretty remarkable that it can be that troublesome but I wont be using any other roa then ingesting it.  I like a buzz as much as the next guy but some of the shit I read was downright freaky.

I take the sulfate version myself, choosen with care NOT to get any addiction issues if I should "fall" for it. The powder is much cheaper, and as opposed to other compounds it doesn't even taste bad so I just throw it in my mouth using a micro scoop I got from another vendor.

Honestly, I have never really "felt" anything from it.... I did, however, casually happen to cold turkey off 40mg's of Prozac since starting it. One day I ran out and I just didn't bother to call in a new script - first two-three weeks I was nauseated and feverish but then it was over. Earlier this year before the Tianeptine I had a similar incident, which ended much, much worse and with Tianeptine being the differential factor, I can only conclude it had something to do with it.

Oh, also. On a few occasions in the beginning I tried "overdosing" the sulfate to see if it would make me feel any discernible effect, and though I didn't feel any euphoria, I think that it made me itchy (typical of opiates). So very low risk of abuse in this form, I'd say. 5g costs me about $60 and lasted for months.

 
Update:

Recently started using the sodium form... HUGE difference, and among the best I've tried for anxiety.

It's not like a benzo, and I dose too low for any opiate euphoria, but the best I can describe it is... as tacky as it sounds, a feeling of "inner peace". It definitely works, tho.

Since I'm wary about addiction (there's quite a few warnings), I don't take it every day, and I always buy 5g jars to alert me of dosage increases.

I get mine from Nootropics Depot since they have free EU shipping above $200 ($50 for the US!) and I'm a long time customer of their other products. There are other vendors with reasonable US shipping though so you might be able to find a better deal.

 
Bit late, but aye, tianeptine can be an effective mood enhancer. There's 2 versions, sulfate n sodium. I think the sodium version is actually a prescription only med, 'Stablon'. I seem to recall. Better getting it in powder, much cheaper. However, i think it's the sodium stuff that is extremely hydro/hygroscopic (?). Whatever the word is, it means it absorbs moisture from the air. So you end up wi damp, clumpy stuff thats hard to play with, measure out etc, even in a container. Think the sulfate is wee bit dearer but it's worth it. I could have it the wrong way round though! Probably wont be long before its banned.

Aye, it's nae bad! I read as much as i could about it before buying. I'm pretty certain the sodium version is a prescribed med. Stablon it was called on 1 'proper' online pharmacy. Think it came in 25mg tabs. The powder is cheaper though. Just don't go daft with it expecting a good gouch. Wont happen. Take as advised, or lower n see how you get on. Taken as it should be it defo works, as a mood enhancer. 

 
Wow this is great info! I thought this stuff was only used to get high for the Opioid Effect I had NO IDEA it was a Nootropic. I got to try this shit like right now literally, this might really help Me at the moment. Hell I think this stuff could really help A LOT of people actually when you think about the bigger picture ya feel Me? 

 
I find this to be the only anti-dep which actually works for me, sadly my last place for reliable powder to UK just went under, tablets start getting a bit expensive
 
Hello, I recently ordered Modafinil from buyetizolam.com. I think that's what it was called. I didn't order etizolam or anything else but Modafinil 200mg for when I work a 2nd shift because we're behind because Doug calls in sick or has a catastrophe every week.
Anyway, it shipped from India and I never got it. Even though it wasn't taken at customs. I was wondering if anyone knew who does Modafinil US to US so it comes for sure .

If you check international list, there is a Modafinil supplier. I think they are new.
