I think it would be nice to limit the number of characters in a vendor tread (which are for reviews). Maybe 250? 300? It should be very easy to fit 3 things in that amount of space.

1. Date ordered/shipped

2. Product

3. Quality

And for non sy vendors the Packaging Rating (NOT DESCRIPTION).

When a review is 11 paragraphs long, and 3 people quote it because they still did not include vital info (like dates or quality) it can be quitea headache to read. I know that Miss Cat & Mrs. 2E do a fantastic job, but this could help them out too, since they also have real lives and obligations, and cannot read every post in every tread.

There have been a lot of posts lately that start out like so:

I woke up a little tired. The sunlight was just starting to creep through my blinds and I knew my alarm would be going off in a little bit. As I rose out of bed, I grabbed my newest iphone and typed my unlock code in. I messed it up and had to type it again. Gtrrr. I went online to check my balance (to see if my check was deposited (they have messed it up before). Yup it was there. Now I opened my laptop, logged on, and opened up my email. I contacted my favorite sy vendor for the name of the day. I was sweating balls as I was in line at XYZ to pay my vendor bill. I went home and made it 5 hours before cut off time. Geez that was close. Yada yada yada we get a whole story of the day of the order, the whole evening (including dinner) and how many times they check their email/tn. Then there is seven more paragraphs from dreams during the night, wetting the bed and up until thry wake and check the tn. Then five more paragraphs with details that are not important that usually end with: "I will update later on here with quality". Than thats 7 more paragraphs instead of saying "A+ or 7/10).

If it's possible, then why not? Even questions directed about the vendor relevant to them should fit into that amount of characters or a little more. Tip top suggestion my brother from another mother!

That's the best post I have read in a long time!!!!!Hope every one reads it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. C @ ClintEastwood: Well I got burned on my first buy. It stral sucks the guy has sole things in stock. But definitely what I ordered and I thought he was honest because I asked for something very close to it and i said what about that one. Yeah I got it. And the comms were wired and he was really wanting me to make his forum board look better. Now I know the first thing to look at even before the menu. But I have some business with usps tomorrow and will ask for everything mailed to me especially packages
  20. Dr-Octagon @ Dr-Octagon: Policies have changed and i would behoove everyone to due their due diligence and go have a look. The guidelines from 5-10 years ago dont apply. And rules, regulations and laws may not either, i mean do you see anyone giving 2 sh1tz about the C0n$tituti@n recently?
