Warning for newbies, DON'T USE COINBASE WALLET!!

Make a long story short, I transferred some funds from coinbase to their wallet and now they are stuck there.. I am now on hour 5 trying to communicate with some idiot that barely speaks english, and knows less than I do about crypto. Just what I like to do everyday after work; spend an hour on the phone with support getting nowhere! No problem using cash app to exodus, or coinbase website to wherever. If it was less than $50 I would probably just give up I'm soo frustrated with them. And I thought I had to worry about getting ripped off by a vendor! Psst. @%&# Coinbase! Sorry, had to vent.

Why should it scare you? What’s wrong with sending from CA to your own wallet? I’d say it’s good practice to use a \/P/N and a second device for the second wallet, and preferable to not have your personal info tied to said wallet. And even better practice to send to another wallet, possibility on a 3rd device with a different VeePEn location, before sending to the destination.

But as long as you’re not sending straight from CA to anybody but yourself you should be fine. There’s nothing ¡lleg@l or even really suspicious about obtaining 🪙 on the app and sending it to a self-custodial. You can only withdraw 1k on it per week, which honestly isn’t really anything they’d be even interested in looking into unless given good reason to. Honestly 🪙 base is far more likely to investigate who/what/when/where whatever’s sent than CA is.

Been using coinage for 5 years no problems sorry you had a issue . I have over 100k in there and never had any problems . I use them religiously to send bitcoin
