Water or Coke

We all know that water is important but I’ve never
seen it written down like this before. (sorry for picking on America it’s nothing personal I love you guys!)

Water

1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
> (Likely applies to half of the world population)

2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so
weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one’s
metabolism as much as 3%.

4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger
pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a
University study.

5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of
water a day could significantly ease back and joint
pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy
short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and
difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a
printed page.

8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the
risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the
risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less
likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should every
day?

COKE

1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol
carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove
blood from the highway after a car accident.

2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it
will be gone in two days.

3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the
toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour,
then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous china.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub
the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Wrap
aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour
a can of Coca- Cola over the terminals to bubble away
the corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in
Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into
the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and
bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished,
remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with
the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke
into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run
through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help
loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze
from your windshield.

For Your Info

1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4
days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones
and is a major contributor to the rising increase in
osteoporosis.

2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the
commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place
cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.

3. The distributors of coke have been using it to
clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a glass of water?

Thanks for sharing..  Now I remember why I havn't touched soda in the last 20 years.  I drink only water all day, everyday, but wondering how much is too much?  I weight 120 and drink around a gallon a day.  I know too much water is unhealthy too and there has actually been deaths by too much water consumption and although rare, sounds scary and makes me wonder what kind of damage can happen in the body from drinking too much water?  Anyway, 1 gallon a day seems to work for myself and will stick to it..

That’s good to hear but drinking soda every now and then isn’t a bad thing. Moderation is as always the key to everything. A gallon a day is spot on. Water intake can vary so much person to person depending on activity levels, I can drink up to two gallons but my output at times can be extremely high. Most deaths occur when people (in the uk anyway) have taken something like e’s and dehydration kicks in so they drink and drink in such a short space of time they lower their sodium levels to the point it becomes toxic to the body. Then it becomes fatal ismf not treated quickly enough.

Drinking between half a gallon - gallon a day spread out is so beneficial...keep up the good work.

Me too.  All water for me here in the states.  Once in a blue moon, I'll have a soda with a meal if eating out.  That's the only way I can handle.  Always sprite, don't do the colas.  I agree it is a problem in the states.  However, I believe that more people are becoming aware and shifting to healthier beverages.  As far as dehydration, I cannot attest one way or the other.  I haven't been exposed to that data.  Great point though @Hammerblow .

Coconut water is a great alternative if you crave something sweet and has more nutritional value than most empty calorie drinks if you’re careful which ones you buy. It’s naturally high in potassium but does contain sugar. Some more then others so don’t be fooled by the advertising. And thank you @chchtwo I try my best to put good info out there for everyone without force feeding it done everyone’s throat. I’m definitely no saint, I don’t drink alcohol or sodas but I have a very very  sweet tooth. Which is just delightful when you’re a competitive bodybuilder..

@sweetmelissa589  Hey.. I read your post in another thread ..I just signed up but are we able to pm each other ..I can’t figure out how to when I click on your profile.    Thankyou.  JLE

Great info. I’ve been drinking a gallon of water a day for the last two years and haven’t had soda in nine years. Admittedly, Coke was my go to when I did partake. I use the restroom a ridiculous amount of times, at one point losing count at 11 trips with the longest release time being 18 seconds.  I like seeing how clear my urine gets.

The water in the states is atrocious. Its full of fluoride and other heavy metals. I couldn't even use it to rinse my mouth out after brushing it was that bad.
In California after a shower there was always a residue in the bath tub. It turned my hair and skin into absolute shite within a week. The bastards are actively poisoning their own people by design.

I wouldn't wash my dog in it let alone drink it!

Distilled water all the way.

They do put fluoride in the water in UK to help prevent tooth dekay, but America sounds bit different.

Scottish water the best in the world. So we have no problems here.,sine European water leaves a lot  to be desired especially if you want to hold on to your bowels. But even then it’s still better for you than Coke. Moderation...I love a bottle of Irn bru. True non alcoholic nectar of the gods.

Fluoride has nothing to do with tooth decay its a poison that was used in the WWII. Its a neurotoxin.

I only drink distilled water. If I showed you a photo of the heavy metals, chlorine and other contaminants from UK water that collects in my distiller  you would be shocked. Its still light years cleaner (at least in the north) than the US. I believe the pH sits at about 7-7.5 when I last tested it. Evian was at about 8 so more alkaline. I don't have my pH or ppm tester on hand.

Its quite revealing when I did tests a while back.

I drink mostly distilled water or coconut water if crave something sweeter. But I’m not afraid to fill up on good old Scottish tap water when I need to. I’ve read the studies but it’s still miles better for you. We should do a thread on artificial sugars like stevia, aspartame m. That’s pretty mind blowing when you look at the data v what they market as.

Poisons, plain and simple. I basically cannot enjoy a soda now as they have introduced sweeteners to everything.
Aspartame is known as highly toxic to humans. The faecal matter of bacteria. Was banned by the FDA then paid off with bullshit data studies to lift the ban due to financial interest in the company producing it. Its a sick, sick world.

Don't drink Pop often but thanx for the info. I live in a part of Canadian that is very close to fresh clean water source so after they "treat" the water and make it ready for tap water you got water a lot cleaner than other places we also have no Fluoride in my area I Googled it out of curiosity one day.

I want to Buy a New Water Filter that works better than a Brita Filter which I saw a commercial saying something about how Brita Filters help clean out Chlorine but not much and it was a commercial with it being about this "Coconut something Filter" I wish I could find the Link to that Filter again is it wasn't to much more expensive plus side being just like the small Brita Filter Containers.

It said in the advertisement the filter removed according to the place in the U.S. L.a. maybe he said they tested after filtering out mercury and the most common bad thing in water is Benzene or some that will cause blood cancer they all Tested for lower than the levels the labs can possible Test it at apparently.

I can't afford much on my fixed monthly income budget on Disability or I.d get Reverse Osmosis Filter or some type of built into the SinK Water Filter... But hey a guy can dream right lol.

@trinity why do they paint fluoride on my kids teeth at the dentist? They say it's for protection, interesting info though

Well even the people that truly and STRONGLY BELIEVE Fluoride Prevents Tooth Decay they all Agree it SHOULD NOT BE INGESTED! Like it shouldn't be in anyone's Drinking Water and in 3rd World Countries the Water containing Unknown Amounts of Fluoride as adding it to the water the way they do it's possible to know if someone is drinking a larger or smaller amount of water per each cup and each "PPM which is short for Parts-Per-Million."

Water in 3rd World Countries show NO Benefit absolutely ZERO reduction in preventing Cavities in any part of the world for that matter BUT... They have  studies of Kids in America for example having Lower I.Q. Levels when Testing them compared to States that Voted against adding Fluoride in the water. So it is correlation not necessarily an actual linked connection between the Fluoride in the Drinking Water in areas where the Children are having the Studies done.

But one has to ask yourself if this is just a coincidence or if that the Fluoride which keep in mind Hitler LITERALLY USED FLUORIDE GAS to Murder the Jews and Showers that do not use Filters will actually have the Fluoride and Chlorine turn into a Gas and it's been proven each time the Water gets Hot like when you Shower it is released as a gas and the Amount of Chlorine you absorb through breatheing the same amount of Chlorine in Water you Drink is 10x as much more potent/Amount Asborbed in the Water. I could go on and on about Fluoride in the water as it was great concern to Me until I found out it was not in the Water in my area thankfully as it is very difficult to filter out and very few specialized filters for Fluoride are available and not cheap.

Sorry if this is hard to read or I made some typos or mistakes and it's a mess of a post bu I can't re-read my Post and fix the typos. Since I got to write a review for James Li as I made an Order and received it and I told him I would a.s.a.p.

OH! I PERSONALLY AMONG MANY Other individuals think Fluoride if you DON'T DRINK IT or consume it in anyway is very good if not essential for Tooth Health with the way we live with our Diet these Days currently so but if you only put it on your Teeth EXTERNALLY your safe.
