Weird New Years holiday tracking.

I bought something via Priority express 2 day.  It was dropped off by deadline New Years Eve and is already in a city nearby.  So why is scheduled delivery date the 4th? Why couldn't they ship tomorrow since it's here?  A$$hats.  I'm too afraid to pick it up.

 
Did it get through? Having Monday the 2nd be a holiday threw everybody off, I think. They must have considered the 3rd and 4th your two days. Just one of the many lovely aspects of dealing with USPS... I usually just plan on an extra day, that way if it shows up on time I'm pleasantly surprised.

 
Sorry for delay.  Yes, it did on Wed.  It just sat there in a nearby warehouse for 2 days.  Glad I got it.
