What is the most hydro (10/325) you take in a day?

I guess my post will be boring but When I was going to dr for my Marfans back when I could afford it and had insurance I took the 4-5 a day as prescribed. I guess it would just depend on the individuals tolerance build. Back when I was in hospital I had been on a dilaudid drip and I think that is what built my tolerance up because that medicine is no joke IMO. Now I'm without insurance and thankfully found this site to hopefully help find same hydro meds for my mess of a disease I was born with.

Hope the hydrowww does help!  Although costly, should be bit easier to find than Dila and less addictive, hopefully :)

As a nurse we were taught, at first, to not consume more than 4000mg in a 24-hour period (not over day, but per 24 hours). Then they changed it to no more than 3000mg per 24 hours.

Just a week ago I took 10 10/325s around 8am and then took another 10 the following day at 4:30am. I was so scared I was going to die of liver failure. I was at work, at least, so if I did die I'd be caught fast. I kept looking to see if my skin was turning yellow. Lol!

Yeah I get concerned about the Tylenol...and mostly for my kidneys.   The liver can recover somewhat...once you fuck the kidneys up,  its pretty much over.   I'm curious if any longterm/high-dose vicodin or perc users have ever had any abnormal liver or kidney values on lab work?

I was taking 4000mg + of acetaminophen for years (nearly every day) as it was combined with another pk not hydros... I no longer do this but had bloods done liver and kidneys 100% fine

I think it’s a case of ones own particular dna and metabolism etc

i would never do this now nor do I recommend it . But also I don’t think people need worry so much about an occasional day or so of 4000-5000mg the OD figure is much closer to 11’000.

I don’t mess with pain meds anymore but back in the day I’d take 20-40 5/500 vikes for months on end. Shoot, I think it was probably 3-4 years actually. Eventually ended up in detox had all kinds of tests done and my kidneys/liver were 100% as well thank the Lord. Can’t explain how or why but the human body does have an amazing way or repairing itself. Once you cross that line however, there’s no coming back. That scares me.

Thank God you were ok bro and same ... it’s no joke to be in dialysis or waiting for a kidney /liver transplant

I think it’s genetic as well I’ve known people to get a bad flu over medicate by say 1000mg a day and end up getting poisoned .

Always err on the side of cation

I was concerned that taking 4 in one day was really bad. Thanks for the perspective.

  12. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I’m salty myself, being an Ohio state fan, but Miami is winning by the smallest margin. Indiana going to be hard to beat
  13. M @ meepmoopmeep: I’m salty about the SEC being eliminated but good for Miami. it was a well fought game by both teams
  14. M @ meepmoopmeep: Imagine being a 10 seed barely squeaking into the playoffs becoming a cinderella team
  15. M @ meepmoopmeep: I think they can beat Oregon, but Indiana is too good
  16. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: Who thinks Miami stands a chance vs either team (Oregon or Indiana) my bet is Indiana but you never know
