What The He! Happened Last Night?

I was coherent through almost the entire game, but I never saw that coming in my wildest dreams. Well maybe what I wanted to believe, but never thought it was possible.

I'm not sure if it was a tribute to Bama or if ND just wasn't the team people thought they were. I'm more inclined to believe the latter, that ND just managed to do what they had to and won a weaker schedule than most thought. But there is no denying that the Tide showed up well prepared and has one of, if not the best, o-lines we'll have the privilege of seeing on our team for at least a few more years if ever.

I am sure the rest of the country is sick of the SEC and can't wait for the playoff system. I can't say I blame them. But in all honesty I had great respect for the Nebraska teams that won 3 out of 4. No telling how much longer it could have lasted of Tom Osborne had not quit. I mean they slid a little but were not really down when he just packed his bags and left. I pray Coach Saban stays around long enough to groom Kirby Smart, which is what I think is the only reason Smart hasn't taken a head coaching job somewhere. I'm not aware of any really good offers that have came his way, and hope they don't any time soon.
