Which opioids are safe to mix?

If say for example you have taken a t@p tablet and wanted to take another opioid based medication, is this safe and how would you calculate the kind of 'safer' levels of opiates within your system?

Anybody got any experiences to share about mixing?, I'd be interested to hear about it
