A friend of mine got this from a pharmacy we use for regular stuff.

RE: NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FACILITIESOur ability to charge by credit card was revoked suddenly and without warning on 29 JUNE 2016. This was caused by lobby groups in the US, acting on behalf of BigPharma who strongly oppose Online Pharmacies for providing a cost effective method of obtaining prescription medicines. This has not only affected customers in the US who prefer to pay by credit card, it includes all countries.Unfortunately the option to pay using credit card has been removed until we find another merchant who will provide us with their card processing facilities.Online Pharmacies are under constant scrutiny from banks and credit card processors because of these anti-competitive pressures, and most now refuse their credit card processing facilities. The few who continue to work with Online Pharmacies, impose much higher transaction fees that are additional to normal bank fees, as well as an increased level of security requirements, necessary to obtain a successful credit card transaction. We do not know when credit card payments will be restored therefore we strongly encourage you to choose Bitcoin or Orbit Remit as your preferred payment method -  these are secure and reliable. We also accept IMT (International Money Transfer) from a transfer service of your choice. Any fee's charged for using a money transfer service are at the purchasers' expense. If we receive a payment transfer that is less than the order total, we will not process that order until the total amount has been paid.If you want more information on these payment methods and for instructions to help you, please visit the 'About Us' and 'Answers to your Questions' pages on our website using the links below.

Hmm, That was a while ago, have they figured out another merchant to provide with the credit card transactions? I would imagine if they had, they would currently be doing so. I guess that's why we both are trying to learn the BTC @screamingmimi

Gotta stay ahead of the game for issues like this that arise.

There are a few IOP that still do the cc but I wonder how long that will last.

I'm not sure what they are using now. I just did a bogus order and it just says bitcoin.   I know one guy I used got busted for paypal and a few other things so now he only takes bitcoin.  He cant even use WU.   And yes why we're learning.

Not so long. The few who do their biz under -entertainment tv services- or whatever will give up one day.

Usa Bitcoin and forget CC/Paypal/Xoom and all the others who gained fees for years because we all needed our
things in time.
I agree, they gotta stop one day. But, Imo it will be some time b4 we have to use cryptocurrency strictly for items we need/want.

I was using the aforementioned company b/c of them accepting the credit cards (I am a dinosaur, so am leery of these new methods of payment), and have had maybe a dozen successful transactions, but last order from 3/3/18 has yet to arrive, and of course, after the fact, I am seeing on forum that they seem to have been blacklisted which has just shocked the crap out of me--"Doc" was always polite, followed up great, good communication--and suddenly gone rogue?  WTH? I am now scrambling to find another vendor with similar merchandise at comparable prices with preferably credit card accessability...Startlite has so many items I would absolutely love to get, but none of their payment options are even ones I have heard of (not saying they are not legit, but I am seeing that depending on your location versus their location (unknown to me), fees are different, so I am a bit confused (doesn't take much these days)....I bought from them before, but don't recall the payment process at that time...Another vendor I used MoneyGram for, and I got questioned like crazy (how I knew this person, how long  I had known them, the last time I actually saw them--scared me to death!).  I understand that vendors and purchasers need certain protections and this is a delicate process, but I am just at a loss at how to proceed from here; I don't even know how to donate to forum again--I did before, and I see instruction re. this Bitcoin, but still trying to figure out the easiest way;  guess I need to do some homework....

WOW! I had no idea re. the costs the online sites incur for using and/or accepting credit cards...I just used a vendor that took Paypal, & with the PP I was able to use any account of my choosing (Visa, MC, etc.), but is that not the better way of doing business?  I am so confused, I just cannot seem to grasp the idea of virtual money and virtual wallets and accounts with lines of words, symbols, letters, and numbers that you have to copy exactly--I don't even know how to cut and paste!  Oh Lord, well, I guess I am seeing why these companies are once bitten, twice shy--but seriously, if the founders of these multibillion dollar computer service companies are hackable, then we all are vulnerable, whatever form of currency we use, or how we place our orders or access the menus...I just stare at that V@l I see from Starl!te and that unbelievable price, but I cannot wrap my head around what I need to do in order to get my money to them "the receiver of the day" & be able to answer those inevitable questions about how long you've known this person, how you know them, when did you see them last, etc--and even if I can get the money through on that end, I also have to contend with my own bank, who now are asking really nosey questions about to whom you are sending your money to, and for what--for shit's sake, if I want to buy a thousand plastic blow up dolls from Vietnam, isn't that MY business??  Anyway, thank you for the information, I am still trying to comprehend that, but I really appreciate the fact that the forum allows for people who understand much better than I do with my quickly draining away brain cells to answer the questions I seem to constantly have....Thank you all, & moderators, I am sorry yet again to be unleashing these long rants (& as soon as I can figure it out, I will be making a donation--not for access to more areas, but to really say I appreciate the guidance as I try to navigate my way through a system that is tricky and foreign to me...) I also appreciate the encouragement, and the fact that you all do not seem to judge me & have in fact done your level best in a kind way to make things easier for me & all of us as we struggle through the process....

Y'know what really pisses me off?  A site (for our vitamins or even arrsees) shows CC icons, and some explicitly claim they accept them, so like a sucker, I put in an order - w/my cc#, get a confirmation email that it's processing, then another one saying that they do not use cc.  OK, THEN BASTARDS, WHY DID YOU LIE ON YOUR SITE, YOU SHITS?!

Dealing with cards in this industry is that the processors will kick you out as soon as they find oiut the products you sell.

Tried many ways, including cloaking, but eventually it always ends in being banned.. Same goes for PayPal
